BUFFALO, N. Isco Spain Jersey .Y. -- The Buffalo Sabres have claimed forward Matt DAgostini a day after he was waived by the Pittsburgh Penguins. DAgostini is on his fourth NHL team since 2010. He had an assist and four penalty minutes in eight games with Pittsburgh after signing a one-year deal with the Penguins in July. He was selected in the sixth round of the 2005 draft by Montreal, and spent two seasons with the Canadiens. DAgostini has also played with the St. Louis Blues and New Jersey Devils. The Sabres acquired DAgostini on a day theyre set to host the Canadiens. Buffalo (5-19-1) has lost four straight and has the NHLs worst record. To make room on their roster, the Sabres placed right wing Corey Tropp on waivers for assignment to AHL Rochester. Tropp had an assist in nine games with Buffalo. http://www.soccerspainonline.com/Mikel-San-Jose-UEFA-European-Spain-Jersey/ . Each of Houstons starters scored in double figures as the Rockets improved to 2-0 against the Spurs this season, with both victories coming on the road. They also moved within 3 1/2 games of San Antonio (22-7) for the lead the Southwest Division. Thiago Alcantara Spain Jersey . Nathan MacKinnon, Jamie McGinn and Jan Hejda also scored for the Avalanche, who won despite being outshot 38-23. MacKinnons goal, also on the power play, came with just over a minute remaining. http://www.soccerspainonline.com/Paco-Alcacer-UEFA-European-Spain-Jersey/ .Y. -- Sabres forward Drew Stafford has witnessed plenty of turmoil during his eight seasons in Buffalo. HAMILTON, Ont. -- A sluggish start for the Abbotsford Heat on Saturday, which put them behind two goals very early, was quickly forgotten about because of Joni Ortio. Ortio made 35 saves, and denied all three shootout attempts, as Abbotsford came from behind to defeat the host Hamilton Bulldogs 3-2 in American Hockey League action. Heat forward Blair Jones attributed his teams slow start to its late-night trip from Utica, where Abbotsford played the Comets on Friday. "We played in Utica last night and didnt get to the hotel until about quarter after four this morning," he said. "We called our timeout and coach reminded us that there was a lot of time left to be played and that wed get our chances. "Fortunately, our goalie stood tall early and made some big saves all game." Jones had both goals for Abbotsford (7-4-1) in regulation, while Markus Granlund scored the shootout winner. Justin Courtnall and Martin St. Pierre had goals for Hamilton (5-2-3). Robert Mayer made 34 saves in a losing effort. The Heat scored on all three shootout attempts, with Granlund, Corban Knight and Jones all finding the back of the net to secure the win. The Bulldogs enjoyed a dream start to Saturdays game, scoring twice within the first five minutes of the opening period. Courtnall punished a glaring Heat mistake to score his first goal of the season at 1:46. Abbotsford was hemmed into its own zone, and with Gabriel Dumont pressuring the defenders behind the net, a clearing attempt came straight to Courtnall, who easily swept a shot past Ortio from close range. The Bulldogs doubled their lead less than three minutes later on the power play, after John Ramage was penalized for hooking at3:15. Magnus Nygren slid a pass across the blue line to Nathan Beaulieu, who released a low slap shot that St. Pierre managed to tip on goal. Ortio kicked aside that first attempt, but St. Pierre connected with a second effort as he was falling that slipped past the goaltender. Abbotsford capitalized on a giveaway early in the second period to score its first goal of the night. http://www.soccerspainonline.com/Gerard-Pique-UEFA-European-Spain-Jersey/. A routine point shot was kicked aside by Mayer, but defenceman Joel Chouinard struggled to corral the rebound and could only knock it forward to Jones, who snapped a quick shot past Mayer at 1:04. Momentum seemed to have swung in the Heats favour, but Abbotsford wasted an opportunity to level the game with a lengthy two-man advantage minutes later. Hamiltons Gabriel Dumont barged into Ortio and was whistled for goaltender interference at 4:26 of the second, putting the Bulldogs two men down for 1:23. But the Heat mustered very few chances on the ensuing five-on-three power play, and the teams remained tied. Play opened up as the second period wore on, with both teams seeing excellent scoring chances being denied. The most obvious of those fell to the Heat just over ten minutes into the period, when the Bulldogs St. Pierre gave the puck away at his own blue line and Mayer came to his rescue with a sliding pad save on the ensuing breakaway. Abbotsford found its equalizer, and Jones his second goal of the night, on the power play in the closing moments of the period. The forward was on the point with the man advantage, and paused with the puck before firing a low slap shot that moved through a screen and beat Mayer to the short side at 18:57 of the second period. Hamilton head coach Sylvain Lefebvre believed that his team may have taken its situation for granted after jumping out to a two-goal lead. "Maybe we expected the game to be easy after it was 2-0," said Lefebvre. "We cant expect that, especially not against a team thats first in a division and a conference. "We were too casual in the second period." Note: 40-year-old David Harris, a goaltending coach for the Newmarket Hurricanes of the Ontario Junior Hockey League, was Abbotsfords backup goaltender on Saturday. Harris was signed to an emergency contract after regular backup Reto Berra was called up by the Calgary Flames earlier in the day. BOSTON - Make it 13-straight seasons with at least 10 wins 200 innings for Mark Buehrle. Matt Harvey Authentic Jersey . If ever they start actually putting pictures beside words in the dictionary, the Blue Jays left-handers mug will appear beside “Consistency.” Buehrle pitched six innings of one-run ball for win number 12. With one start remaining, Buehrle has thrown 200 1/3 innings for the year. The Blue Jays beat Boston 4-2. “Hes had a tremendous year,” said manager John Gibbons. “A slow start and then he kicked it in, he was Steady Eddie and hes been doing what hes done his whole career. Its pretty amazing. Hes logged so many innings over his career. Think about that. Never been on the DL, I guess. Hes a rare guy.” If Buehrle wins his final start, Thursday in Baltimore, it will mark the fifth-straight year hes finished with 13 victories. Buehrle is the White Sox all-time leader with nine opening day starts. He threw a no-hitter on April 18, 2007, pitched a perfect game against Tampa Bay on July 23, 2009 and followed up in the next start with 5 2/3 perfect innings before allowing a base runner. In all, he retired 45-straight batters, which remains a major league record. He is one of only three pitchers in major league history – Cy Young and Sandy Koufax are the others – to throw separate perfect games and no-hitters and win a World Series, all with the same team. All are accomplishments hell better reflect on once retired. For now, Buehrle takes pride in making all of his starts, year in and year out. “Thats one thing, coming into the season, that I set my goal at,” said Buehrle of 200 innings. “Like I said before, I wish it was in a better situation and we were in a better spot but I feel like I went out there and had a pretty good year so far, going deep into games and getting to 200. It was a goal of mine I set in spring training.” “Its unbelievable,” said Brett Lawrie. “Obviously hes impressive in this game with a perfect game, a couple of no hitters. Hes the man. He just goes out there and competes and just does what he can for the team and throws strikes, gets ahead and if things dont go his way he just sucks it up and moves on to the next one. True pro.” Buehrle is appreciated by teammates in the same way as R.A. Dickey. Both are notoriously quick workers. Buehrle wastes little time in between pitches, getting the ball back from his catcher and immediately toeing the rubber. A player like Lawrie, as intense as anyone, thrives on the pace. “I know it keeps everyone else in the game just from his pace,” said Lawrie. “Hes throwing strikes. Hes keeping hitters off-balance and hes getting ground balls and hes doing what he does and its just fun because it keeps all of us in the game, allows us to get in the dugout, put up some runs for him. Hes just great to play behind.” Buehrle is respected as much off the field as he is for his work in between the lines. “You get 25 Buehrles, youre probably going to have a good year,” said Gibbons. “Need more guys like that, the Buehrles and DeRosas and those guys.” Lucas Duda Jersey . -- Matt Rupert scored once in regulation and again in the shootout as the London Knights extended their win streak to nine games by defeating the Owen Sound Attack 4-3 on Friday in Ontario Hockey League action. NASHVILLE -- Tennessees search for a new coach has taken a turn to an old foe with the Titans interviewing Jim Caldwell. Nike Juvenate Faded Olive . The Titans confirmed Wednesday that they had completed an interview with Caldwell, the former Indianapolis Colts coach and current Baltimore Ravens offensive co-ordinator. The team plane picked Caldwell up in Baltimore on Wednesday morning and was scheduled to return to Baltimore late Wednesday afternoon. Caldwell, 58, also has interviewed with the Washington Redskins and the Detroit Lions. He spent a decade with Indianapolis first as quarterbacks coach in Indianapolis with Peyton Manning. He replaced Tony Dungy as coach in 2009, and they reached the Super Bowl his first season only to lose to New Orleans in February 2010. He finished 26-22 in his three seasons before being fired in January 2012. Caldwell joined Baltimore as quarterbacks coach in February 2012 working with Joe Flacco before being promoted to offensive co-ordinator before the Ravens went on to win the Super Bowl. The Ravens struggled this season finishing 29th in total offence and 30th running the ball. The Titans are one of five NFL teams still looking for a new coach after firing Mike Munchak after three seasons on Saturday. Bengals offensive co-ordinator Jay Gruden interviewed with Tennessee on Tuesday, and Cincinnati Bengals defensive co-ordinator Mike Zimmer reportedly is set to interview with the Titans on Thursday. The Titans team plane had a flight plan filed to head to Cincinnatis airport in northern Kentucky after leaving Baltimore on Wednesday night. This is only the teams second coaching search since leaving Texas for Tennessee in 1997, and the first conducted by Webster. MICHAEL CARTER-WILLIAMS (Sixers): What a difference this guy makes. Interesting with some guys; they end up being better as pros than they were in college. Every time I watch him, I marvel at his versatility and ability to impact the game on so many levels. I thought they were a little goofy trading Jrue Holiday to the Pelicans, yet as I reflect on it now they knew this young man could be special and they wanted to clear the runway for him. Smart move. Hes a keeper. 2. TYLER HANSBROUGH (Raptors): Has lost some playing time of late with the emergence of the other three front court partners that he has, yet he was truly missed last night here in Miami for his rebounding prowess and ability to win 50/50 balls and chase down balls that are long rebounds. Ankle injury leaves the Raptors a bit vulnerable inside vs. the Pacers and Pistons next two games. A concern. He has limitations, yet you truly appreciate his value when hes not out there. Tough hard-nosed competitor who leaves it all out there. 3. TREVOR ARIZA (Wizards): When I watch his team play I see a guy who is so valuable to their fortunes with his 3-point shooting abiliity and dedication on the defensive end. Nike Free 3.0 Flyknit Prezzo. Having guys like him, Bradley Beal and Martell Webster allows John Wall to have lots of space to penetrate in the lane because they all shoot the three. His veteran leadership is big and when he got tossed out of the Raptors game on Friday night it was a critical blow to his teams chances. Control that temper - your team needs you. 4. CHRIS ANDERSON (Heat): What an ideal reserve for his team. He gives you energy and great second effort in the lane. On a team with such speed, quickness, three-point shooting and transition ability his game fits their style of play perfectly. Hes a guy that thrives in tempo and lives off of teammates penetration and folks doubling LeBron James and D-Wade to free him up on the glass and for dunks. A good fit. 5. TYREKE EVANS (Pelicans): Gotta give props to coach Monty Williams. Hes gotten through to him and hes playing a much more team-oriented style than we saw in his time with the Kings. His all-around game has been efficient and with him averaging 13 + PPG along with 4.9 RPG and 4.4 Assists PG, he has fit in nicely with their improving roster. Another guy with lots of talent that is finally starting to mature. Hes a solid combo guard with a lot of explosiveness in his game. The key is developing consistency. Driven as ever, Williams won plenty this year. She went 78-4 with 11 titles, including at the French Open and U.S. Open, raising her Grand Slam championship total to 17. She compiled a 34-match winning streak. She earned more than $12 million in prize money, a record for womens tennis. In February, she became the oldest No. 1 in WTA rankings history and never left that perch. Thanks to all of that, Williams was honoured Wednesday as The Associated Press 2013 Female Athlete of the Year. Its the third AP award for Williams, following 2002 and 2009. Only two women have been chosen more often as AP Athlete of the Year since the annual awards were first handed out in 1931. "Whenever I lose, I get more determined, and it gives me something more to work toward," Williams told the AP in an interview shortly before the start of the U.S. Open. "I dont get complacent, and I realize I need to work harder and I need to do better and I want to do better — or I wouldnt keep playing this game." The vote by news organizations was about as lopsided as many of Williams matches this season. She received 55 of 96 votes, while Brittney Griner, a two-time AP Player of the Year in college basketball and the No. 1 pick in Aprils WNBA draft, finished second with 14. Swimmer Missy Franklin was next with 10. The Male Athlete of the Year recipient will be announced Thursday. Williams, who grew up in Compton, Calif., and turned 32 in September, produced the finest womens tennis season in years. According to the WTA: — her .951 winning percentage was the best since Steffi Grafs .977 in 1989; — her 11 titles were the most since Martina Hingis 12 in 1997; — her winning streak was the longest since her sister, Venus, had a 35-match run in 2000. "She just continues to be an inspiration to American tennis," said Gordon Smith, the executive director of the U. Jason Kipnis Authentic Jersey. . Tennis Association, which runs the U.S. Open. "Her year this year? Unforgettable." By adding a fifth career U.S. Open championship, and a second French Open title, Williams also moved within one Grand Slam trophy of the 18 apiece won by Martina Navratilova and Chris Evert. The record is 24 by Margaret Court. Pretty heady company. Evert is one of the only two women with more AP awards than Williams. Evert won four from 1974-80, while Babe Didrikson collected a record six — one for track in 1932, and five for golf from 1945-54. "Serena already has provided significant contributions to taking our sport to the next level. ... She is chasing records and no doubt will break many records before shes finished," WTA Chairman Stacey Allaster said. "That obviously just brings a lot more attention to our sport." Two particular moments in 2013 stuck out to Allaster. One came at Qatar in February, when Williams cried after assuring herself of returning to No. 1 for the first time since 2010, the year the American needed two operations on her right foot and got blood clots in her lungs. "You could see the joy, the tears of joy. It meant so much to her, from everything she had been through, to be able to be back at the top of the sport, a sport that she does truly love," Allaster said. The second moment came during Wimbledon, when Williams joined other women who have been ranked No. 1 at a celebration of the WTAs 40th anniversary. "It was an opportunity to see her in a leadership position. ... She did a remarkable job at speaking on behalf of all those great athletes and speaking to future players," Allaster said. "Theres a little girl, perhaps out there in Compton, who is dreaming of playing on the WTA, and Serena said, Were waiting for you, and we cant wait to meet you." He made regret their words. The Memphis guard came off the bench to score 13 of his 17 points in the fourth quarter, leading the Grizzlies to a 99-91 win over Phoenix on Thursday night. The Grizzlies overcame 33 points from Suns guard Goran Dragic to improve to 14-17. Bayless was born and raised in Phoenix, played high school ball just north of the US Airways Center and played in college at Arizona. He helped the Grizzlies recover from the Suns 18-0 third-quarter run, giving Memphis a 94-84 lead on a 3-pointer with 4:30 to play. "Well, some guys on the sidelines said that I disgraced St. Marys (high school)," Bayless said. "That kind of hurt my feelings and that got me going a little bit." Zach Randolph had 20 points and 15 rebounds in helping the Grizzlies cool the Suns for a night, the second win for the visitors in two meetings between the teams this season. Ed Davis added 16 points and 11 rebounds. Dragic scored 15 of his points during the Suns big third quarter. Dragic added seven assists and finished with a career high in points on the night the Suns gave away thousands of bobbleheads bearing his likeness. The Suns (19-12) couldnt fight off the Grizzlies, who scored seven straight points to regain the lead after trailing by four to start the final quarter. Bayless fueled the run with a 3-pointer and jumper to give the Grizzlies an 80-75 lead with 9:31 left to play. "It was their bench that killed us again," Suns coach Jeff Hornacek said. "These guys, if they dont think that Ed Davis and Bayless are good players, theyre crazy." Dragic drilled a 3-pointer after a layup by Davis and hit another after a layup by James Johnson to pull Phoenix within 84-81, but the Suns never got the lead back. "Memphis is not a good matchup for us," Dragic said. "They have a lot of big guys under the rim and they attack the paint." The Suns led 26-22 after one quarter, but struggled with their shooting in the second, when they made jjust 6 of 23 from the floor. Nike Free Flyknit Black. Memphis took a five-point lead on a driving layup from Mike Conley with 7:26 to play in the quarter. Then Conley flipped a no-look pass behind his back to Davis for the assist on a basket and a 38-31 lead. The Suns cut the lead to 46-41 on a dunk from Markieff Morris with 2:20 left in the half, but the Grizzlies scored the next seven points and took a 53-41 lead into the break. Randolph, who didnt play in the first meeting between the teams this season in Tennessee, led Memphis with 14 first-half points and grabbed eight rebounds. The Suns missed nine of 11 3-point attempts in the first half. The Suns 41 first half points was one away from their season low of 40 last week at Golden State. It didnt take long, however, for Phoenix to get back into the game. The Suns scored 16 unanswered points over a three-minute span in the third quarter, including Dragics step-back jumper that gave them a 58-57 lead. The Suns scoring streak reached 18 straight points on P.J. Tuckers layup with 6:12 left in the quarter that gave them a 62-57 lead. Memphis finally broke the run with Conleys two free throws at the 5:43 mark. "We weathered the storm," Randolph said. "When J.B. (Bayless) hits shots like that it opens up for us. We can play in the paint." The Grizzlies outrebounded the Suns 59-40 and were more physical throughout the game. Channing Frye scored eight of his 14 points in the game in the third quarter. NOTES: Suns guard Eric Bledsoe was a late scratch from the starting lineup due to a right knee sprain, and didnt play. Gerald Green started at the two-guard in Bledsoes place. Hornacek said Bledsoe, who was injured during the Suns game against the Clippers on Monday, is questionable for the Suns game Sunday against Milwaukee. . Hornacek was named the NBAs Western Conference Coach of the Month for December. He led Phoenix to a 10-3 record during the month. Hornacek is the third person in NBA history to win both Coach of the Month and Player of the Month, and the first to do so with the same franchise. BARCELONA, Spain -- Neymar scored in his first clasico and set up Alexis Sanchez for an exquisite decider as Barcelona beat fierce rival Real Madrid 2-1 at Camp Nou in the Spanish league on Saturday. http://www.authenticrangersgear.com/adrian-beltre-rangers-jersey/ . With Lionel Messi oddly quiet, Neymar opened in the 19th minute from close range after receiving Andres Iniestas pass as the Brazil striker outshone fellow newcomer and adversary Gareth Bale. "Scoring a goal in a clasico is very special," Neymar said. "Its a game that everyone wants to play. It was like a dream come true." While Neymar has lived up to his 57-million-euro transfer this summer, questions over the wisdom of Madrids 100 million euros payout for Bale will continue after he failed to produce a shot on goal before being replaced by Karim Benzema with half an hour to go. Benzema went on to hit the woodwork as Madrid threatened to equalize before Alexis took Neymars pass and sealed the victory in the 78th with a brilliant chipped shot. Substitute Jese Rodriguez got Madrids consolation goal in injury time after a lightning counterattack. Neymar followed in the footsteps of former Brazilian standouts Romario and Rivaldo, who scored in their first matches for the Catalan club against Madrid. And his playmaking echoed Ronaldinhos assist in his first clasico. Barcelona coach Gerardo Martino, also making his clasico debut, was careful not to overpraise Neymar, while also giving credit to Messi for his work in defence. "The transcendence of this game and the goal he scored magnified the level of his performance," Martino said about Neymar. "But I think he has had better games than tonight. As far as what (Messi) did for the team to recover the ball, I give him a superlative mark." Madrid had improved in its recent visits to Camp Nou, including a 3-1 win in the Copa del Rey last February, but Barcelona restored its home dominance over its traditional rival for the league crown. The victory was Barcelonas ninth to go with one lone draw in the league this season, lifting it a provisional four points clear of Atletico Madrid which hosts Real Betis on Sunday. Madrid was left a full six points adrift of the pacesetters and with reawakened doubts over the direction of the team under new coach Carlo Ancelotti after losses to both of its league challengers. It lost 1-0 to Atletico last month. "I think we showed good football in front of a fantastic team," Ancelotti said after his first clasico. "At this moment it was a good test. We are improving." Bale made his second start of the season since being hampered by muscle injuries, but he didnt prove to be effective in attack with Cristiano Ronaldo. Ancelotti further tweaked his starting 11 with Sergio Ramos in midfield, while Martino chose Cesc Fabregas to accompany Messi and Neymar in attack. Neymar struck the ball into the arms of Madrid goalkeeper Diego Lopez in the games first shot on goal in the 17th. Two minutes later, Iniesta dribbled into the area and laid off for Neymar on the left flank. Madrid appeared to have him hemmed in, but he used his right foot to slip a shot between the legs of Dani Carvajal, with the ball taking a deflection off the defenders thigh before trickling in. It was Neymars fourth goal in 14 matches since joining from Santos this off-season. While Neymar sparkled, Bale was limited to a pair of harmless long-range attempts as Madrid failed to muster a shot on target until a minute before halftime. Madrid gained ground as the second half wore on and Barcelona appeared to tire, leaving Benzema unmarked to rip a shot off the woodwork in the 72nd. But Neymar helped Alexis secure the three points when he spotted the Chileans run after he came on for Fabregas in the 70th. Alexis pulled up outside the area with Raphael Varane in front of him and coolly lofted the ball over the defender and the diving Lopez, who was caught just off his line. "I didnt have any other option," Alexis said. "I saw the goalkeeper coming forward and I had to try it. Fortunately it went in." Neymar received an ovation when he was substituted six minutes from time before Rodriguez fired under Victor Valdes, who plans to leave Barcelona next summer and could have played his last home game against Madrid unless the teams meet in the Champions League or Spanish cup. Before the match, Camp Nou displayed a giant mosaic with the message "Forca Tito" ("Stay Strong Tito" in Catalan) in support of former coach Tito Vilanova, who had to step down this summer as he fights throat cancer. Also, Celta emphatically broke a four-game losing streak with a 5-0 rout at Malaga, while Granada won 1-0 at Elche. The native of Truro, N.S., booted four field goals -- including two in the decisive fourth quarter -- as the Hamilton Tiger-Cats defeated the Montreal Alouettes 28-26 on Saturday. Hamilton had placed Lauther on its practice roster after selecting the former Saint Marys Huskies kicker in the seventh round of the 2013 CFL draft. But he was promoted to the active roster to replace incumbent Luca Congi, who was benched after missing two field goals in last weekends 26-22 loss to Calgary. Lauther made good on his opportunity, making all four of his attempts. "I dont care about the stats," he said. "We got the win, thats all I really care about. "It was extra special that family and friends were in the crowd." Hamilton coach Kent Austin was definitely impressed with the rookie kicker but not surprised. "He has a past of making big kicks," Austin aid. "Thats kind of his M.O." Hamilton rallied for the victory by outscoring Montreal 15-7 in the fourth. Dan LeFevours one-yard TD run anchored the rally, which also included Lauthers field goals and a safety. The Ticats (6-6) erased a 19-13 third-quarter deficit en route to moving four points ahead of third-place Montreal (4-8) in the East Division standings. Hamilton improved to 2-0 at Moncton Stadium after downing Calgary 56-36 in 2011. LeFevours TD put the Ticats ahead 22-19 and was set up by Louie Richardsons recovery of Tyron Carriers fumble on a punt return. Hamilton quarterback Henry Burris appeared in his second Touchdown Atlantic game. Burris finished 15-of-27 for 176 yards and an interception as the Ticats earned their fifth win in seven games. "I think weve been improving and really thats all we really focus on. " Austin said. "They play with great effort and have a ton of fight in them." Montreal made it interesting as Josh Neiswander found Duron Carter on a 27-yard TD strike - Neiswanders second of the game - with under a minute remaining. But Hamilton recovered the onside kickoff to cement the victory. Neiswander was 26-of-36 passing for 294 yards with no interceptions. Prior to Saturdays game, the Alouettes placed rookie Tanner Marsh (thumb) on the nine-game injured list, joining veteran Anthony Calvillo (concussion) to solidify Neiswanders status as Montrreals clear-cut starter. Delino DeShields Jersey. Jim Popp, Montreals GM and interim head coach, said Neiswander played well. "Hes got a real sense of running our offence," Popp said. "We did things to simplify our offence. "I thought this was one of our better games at sustaining drives." Despite the loss, Popp found some positive in the game. "The final score wasnt good but there was a lot of good in the game," he said. "Maybe the first game this year that we didnt turn the ball over on offence." Troy Smith and S.J. Green scored Montreals touchdowns. Sean Whyte added a convert and two field goals. Montreal opened the third impressively, with Smith, a former Heisman Trophy winner at Ohio State, scoring on a one-yard TD run to put the Alouettes ahead 16-13 as the convert was blocked. After Lauther opened the scoring in the first, Montreal took a 7-3 lead when Neiswander found Green on a 33-yard TD strike to cap a nine-play, 80-yard drive with the wind. Lauthers 40-yard field goal on the final play of the second quarter staked Hamilton to a 13-10 halftime lead. The Ticats opened the frame with the wind advantage and used a little razzle-dazzle to take a 10-7 advantage. Hamilton lined up for the field goal but after taking the snap, new holder Andy Fantuz flipped the ball to Beswick, who rumbled 10 yards for the TD. Usually on converts, punter Josh Bartel holds for the Ticats. Popp said he saw the play coming but the Alouettes still couldnt stop it. "We were yelling and screaming,"he said. "When theyre that far down there and its only five yards to get a first down, they may take a chance." Austin said the Ticats have been practising the fake for some time but were waiting for the perfect time to use it. "It wasnt a sure thing, we had to execute it," he said. "We wanted it to be close, we didnt want to do it on a 43 or a 47-yarder." Montreals defence held Hamilton to 288 total yards but the Ticats won the special-teams battle. Alouettes linebacker Chip Cox, the CFLs leading tackler, had seven tackles and an interception. NOTES: Cris Carter, the Pro Football Hall of Fame member and former Minnesota Vikings star, was on hand to watch his son, Duron, play for Montreal . . . NEWTON, Iowa -- If this was Brad Keselowskis final trip to Iowa Speedway, he made it a memorable one. Carlos Gomez Jersey . Keselowski held off the charging Michael McDowell on Saturday night to win the NASCAR Nationwide race at the short track. The only Sprint Cup driver commuting from Pocono in Pennsylvania, Keselowski led 146 of 250 laps for his third Nationwide victory of the season and second in two starts. Trevor Bayne was third, followed by Sam Hornish Jr. and Ty Dillon. Keselowski, who ran the No. 22 car so Ryan Blaney could stay in Pocono for Saturdays Truck race, was set to cruise to an easy win when James Bueschers crash erased his lead less than 10 laps from the finish. But Keselowski went high to overtake McDowell and held on for his 30th series victory. "He had me there for a minute. Somehow I slipped back by him. Im really not even sure how that worked out," said Keselowski, who mentioned after the race that the seat for the No. 22 car in Iowa will likely be given to a Penske developmental driver in the future. "These wins, theyre not easy to come by." Points leader Chase Elliott finished eighth. He leads Regan Smith by two points. Keselowski won for the third time at the track. He won the inaugural race five years ago and topped Hornish last season. Keselowskis success on Iowas short track -- along with a front-row spot next to Bayne and six consecutive top-three finishes in NASCARs second-tier series -- had him pegged as the heavy favourite from the moment the green flag dropped. The Sprint Cup regular didnt disappoint. Keselowski and Hornish swapped the lead much of the night, with Keselowski taking control two-thirds of the way through the race. Dakoda Armstrongs blown tire less than 70 laps from the finish gave the front-runners a chance to make pit stops. Keselowski won the race off pit road and appeared to have the race locked up until the final caution put him in jeopardy. The flag gave a relatively boring race a brilliant finish. McDowell briefly held the lead, and the first win of his career appeared within reach before Keselowski made the move of the race. "Brad definitely had the best car. But on those restarts, everybodys got a shot," McDowell said. "I tried my best. I gave it all I had. But I just got a little too loose on (turn) three and Brad got a run on the outside." Bayne won his first pole of the season earlier Saturday and led the first 31 laps, besting his total for the entire season just minutes into the race. Bayne also won the "Dash 4 Cash" promotion for series regulars, pocketing $100,000. Keselowski put himself in position for a weekend sweep after qualifying third for Sundays race in Pocono. Keselowski flew from Pennsylvania to Iowa about three hours before the race and flew right back to Pocono after the race, this time clutching perhaps his last trophy from the Iowa Speedway. "This isnt a race that Penske circles and says we want to send a Cup driver to. Its just the way it works right now with our development drivers in the trucks series. The race is a conflict," Keselowski said. "But Ive enjoyed the success Ive had here." Carlos Lee Jersey .com) - Andrew Shaw scored twice and the Chicago Blackhawks thumped the Arizona Coyotes, 6-1. Slowly but surely, the line in the Raiders training room is thinning out. The timing is right, too. Coach Dennis Allens team is in the midst of a five-week stretch playing against opponents with sub-.500 records. The Raiders have won two of their last three and can get back to a break-even point by beating Philadelphia on Sunday. "I thought both of those guys looked fairly decent out there at practice," Allen said Wednesday. "Well continue to evaluate them as the week goes on but that was good to see, to have those guys back out there. Those guys can help us." The Raiders have had a long list of injured players almost since the season began, most of them offensive linemen. The outlook is a bit more promising now. Getting Watson, the 42nd overall pick in the draft, back to practice gives Oakland some much-needed depth up front. Starting right tackle Tony Pashos and backup centre/left guard Andre Gurode both sat out last weeks win over the Pittsburgh Steelers while hurt. Even left tackle Jared Veldheer, out since early in training camp, received encouraging news regarding his triceps injury. Veldheer flew to Los Angeles earlier this week to meet with his doctor and was told his recovery is right on track. "Everythings going good," said Veldheer, who had started 42 consecutive games for the Raiders before getting hurt during a training camp practice. "Its on track with everything. Its getting close, thats the exciting part." Burris started 15 games as a rookie in 2012 but had been on the physically unable to perform list before getting cleared to practice this week. The Raiders now have three weeks to decide whether to add Burris to the 53-man roster. They have an exemption on the 2012 fourth-roound draft pick until then. Roy Oswalt Astros Jersey. "(Were) getting an opportunity to get him out here and actually go through some football activity and see where hes at movement-wise, see where hes at conditioning-wise," Allen said. "That will be a big factor as to when and if we decide to bring him up to the active roster." Burris set a franchise rookie record with 138 tackles last season while playing weakside linebacker. Now hes taking reps at all three linebacker positions and will also get work on special teams before the team makes its decision. "Feels great to be back out with the team," Burris said. "I was able to go pretty much full-go. Its just the other parts of the game, getting back out there and feeling everything and seeing things and just reacting. "My biggest goal is to get back on that 53 and contribute any way I can." Watson had been getting work at left tackle with Oaklands starting offence after Veldheer went down. The 6-foot-5, 315-pound native of Manchester, England, will continue to get work there and as a backup to Matt McCants at right tackle until Pashos is cleared to practice. Watsons return comes one week after centre Stefen Wisniewski rejoined practice following a two-game absence. "With some of the depth issues that we have on the offensive line, he could potentially be forced into action sooner than maybe we would normally want," Allen said. "We just have to evaluate how he goes through practice, where hes at mentally as well as where hes at physically." Notes: Pashos (hip flexor) and Gurode (quad) joined safety Tyvon Branch as the only players absent from practice. "I dont expect them to be out a whole lot longer," Allen said. "But you never know how these things can go, whether theres any type of setback in the rehab process or whatever. Im hopeful that theyll be back soon." ___ AP NFL website: http://www.pro32.ap.org Cheap Jerseys Wholesale Jerseys Wholesale Jerseys Cheap Jerseys Cheap NFL Jerseys Cheap Jerseys China Wholesale Jerseys ' ' '

MONACO -- As Formula One champion Sebastian Vettel struggles to get into gear, Red Bull teammate Daniel Ricciardos is gliding through the curves. Adidas Superstar Blanche . Ricciardo is in fifth place overall, six points behind fourth-place Vettel, and secured his first career podium two weeks ago when he finished third at the Spanish Grand Prix. The Australian driver has beaten Vettel in qualifying in three of the five races, and has twice featured on the front row -- qualifying second in Australia and in China. Vettel was so dominant last year, winning the last nine races and 13 overall, that it seemed highly improbable Ricciardo would challenge him in his first season since moving from Toro Rosso. "Some people didnt expect this from me, but I knew deep down that I could do well," Ricciardo said at the Monaco GP on Friday. "If I am able to push a four-time world champion then I know that I am doing something right." Rule changes to engine size and lowered fuel loads have blighted Red Bull, which is unable to generate the same speed, and is lagging way behind Mercedes, as Lewis Hamilton and Nico Rosberg run away with the championship. "Seb had a car at the end of last year he was very comfortable with, so it might have taken him a little by surprise to have a more complex car this year," Ricciardo said. "Maybe I have adapted to the new conditions a bit quicker." Vettel had a frosty relationship with former teammate Mark Webber, who retired after last years championship. Although there are no signs of tension between him and Ricciardo, it appears Vettels team role has somewhat lessened this season. "Particularly in preseason, Seb was doing a lot of the talking within the team and a lot of the feedback, because he knew everyone and they trusted him," Ricciardo said. "But now that I have some results and Ive got to know the team a lot better, they are now leaning on both of us for feedback." Ricciardo would be ahead of Vettel had he not been disqualified in front of his home fans at the season-opening Australian GP, where he was stripped of his second-place finish, and the 18 points that go with it, for breaching F1s new rules on fuel usage. "It did so much for my confidence seeing all those people cheering and shouting my name," Ricciardo said. "It actually made me even hungrier with how it went because it got taken away from me." Newton passed for 226 yards and three touchdowns on 21-of-33 efficiency and rushed for 83 yards and another score on 12 carries for the Panthers (4-8-1), who suddenly find themselves back in the race for the NFC South crown. We did a great job of making them boo by halftime, which is always a great thing when youre the visiting team, Panthers safety and ex-Saint Roman Harper said. To go on the road in a tough environment and win the way we did, as a fan I would be kind of frustrated, too. Jonathan Stewart racked up a game-best 155 yards on the ground with a TD on 20 attempts, while Greg Olsen was Newtons top target with 10 receptions for 72 yards and a touchdown. Drew Brees was contained for most of the contest, but threw for 235 yards and a score to Benjamin Watson for the Saints (5-8), who hadnt lost four in a row at home since 1999 -- Mike Ditkas final season as head coach. Marques Colston totaled 72 yards on five catches, while the rushing tandem of Mark Ingram and Pierre Thomas was limited to 81 yards on 15 combined carries. Kelvin Benjamins 9-yard TD reception capped the opening possession of the contest, then Carolina went up 10-0 on its next touch as Graham Gano converted a 37-yard attempt. That score was set up by Ingrams fumble and Colin Coles recovery at the Saints 25. One play after the ensuing kickoff, Brees was picked off by Bene Benwikkere at his own 40. Adidas Supercolor Bleu Ciel. It took the Panthers six plays to reach the end zone, as Newton took it in himself from the two on 3rd-and-1. Shayne Grahams 37-yard make put the Saints on the board early in the second quarter, but the hosts werent able to respond after Newton hit Olsen for a 16-yard touchdown and 24-3 game with 2:14 left in the first half. Id use the word frustrated, Id use the word embarrassed, to go out there as a professional football team and play that way at home, Watson said. The outplayed us, outhustled us, out-executed us. Even if we lose, it shouldnt be this lopsided with the talent we have. Carolinas defense forced a three-and-out to begin the second half, then Stewarts 69-yard scamper on the Panthers first snap of the third boosted Carolinas edge to 31-3. Fozzy Whittaker later caught a Newton pass along the right sideline and dove for the pylon for a 26-yard strike. Ganos 41-yarder early in the fourth provided a 41-3 margin, and Brees was only able to strike back with 5:29 to play as he found Watson for a 7-yard score.
