General manager Chris Grant said Bynum began taking part in full-court drills two weeks ago, but no timetable has been set for his return to full-contact practices. The right-hander, scratched from his scheduled spring training debut Monday against Pittsburgh in Bradenton, said he was hurt Saturday. "Just getting ready to go fishing," he said. "I promised my little boy I would take him fishing, so we went to Bass Pro and we bought us some rods and reels that were comboed. Peavy said he was "trying to cut the wire tie that was holding them together, using the knife with my right hand and holding the rod with my left, and when I broke the wire tie, it struck the knuckle pretty good." Since Peavy didnt want to disappoint his son they drove to teammate John Lackeys house. But while pulling the knife out of his hand, Peavy said he struck a vein and got a good amount of blood on his shorts. Peavy said he threw away the shorts at Lackeys house and changed. Lackey told Peavy he should get the wound examined. Peavy then went fishing and didnt catch anything. "I couldnt tell my 5-year-old I didnt want to go fishing anymore," Peavy said. "It was his last day here. I couldnt say, Well go tomorrow. It wasnt the biggest deal in the world. Not much we could have done except -- the biggest thing was, they were freaking out, thinking I was cleaning fish with the knife." The 32-year-old Peavy, acquired by Boston last summer, was 4-1 with a 4.04 ERA in 10 starts for the Red Sox last season and 0-1 with a 7.10 ERA in three post-season starts. He received several stitches Sunday to close the gash. "Its a bummer. I didnt think it was that crazy bad to the point I didnt seek medical attention. That day we wrapped it up and went fishing. I came in here yesteerday and realized we needed to have it stitched up and we would have to take some precautionary measures.http://www.thenfllionslockroom.com/Youth-AShawn-Robinson-Elite-Jersey/. You just dont want to risk infection. I could go out and play today if it was a must, but you cant risk infection and let it sweat. And me not getting it tended to right off the bat, you just dont want to get it infected and thats the reason were going to hold off a day or two." Red Sox manager John Farrell said on Sunday that Peavy will not throw for three days. "I dont think its going to be long at all," Peavy said. "I would like to get out, play some catch and do some stuff tomorrow. The biggest thing is theyre not going to let me sweat until the healing process takes over. I believe Im going to play catch and I would love to tell you Im going to make my next start. Thats certainly what Im aiming for and hopefully we can do that and get back on schedule and it doesnt mess things up too much." Peavy is behind because of irritation in his right ring finger stemming from when he was hit by a ball while shagging flies early in spring training. Farrell said Peavys timetable to start the season may not be affected if he can get back to his throwing program soon. Peavy could be fitted with padding in his glove. "Thats going to be the kicker," Peavy said. "Its on a knuckle. Well figure it out. Get a bigger glove or something. Im sure theyll wrap it up and get it to the point where Ill watch it all the way, like I tell my boys, and make sure the ball goes into the pocket of glove." And at least the injury isnt to his pitching hand. "Weve all done something like that at some point in our lives," he said. "It was a huge bummer, but so blessed it was my left hand. A bummer to miss a start and get off schedule a little." Cheap Jerseys Wholesale Jerseys Wholesale Jerseys Cheap Jerseys Cheap NFL Jerseys Cheap Jerseys China Wholesale Jerseys ' ' '

NEWARK, N. David Alaba Jersey .J. -- Marty Brodeur beat the Pittsburgh Penguins yet again. He even got an assist, too. "I think thats been the case for a number of years, even before I played for Pittsburgh," Penguins centre Sidney Crosby said. "They play a good team defence and with Marty Brodeur and (Cory) Schneider there, they have two pretty good goalies. You have to make sure you put your chances away." Brodeur came up big early and then held on to improve his record to 48-28-5 against Pittsburgh in his career. The Devils stand 13-3 vs. the Penguins at the Prudential Center since it opened in 2008. Adam Henrique scored 1:38 into the game and Michael Ryder connected 2:45 into the second, sparking the Devils to a 2-1 victory on Tuesday. Brodeur was credited with his 44th career assist on Ryders goal. Brodeur had an assist in the game for the Devils (17-16-1) and made 19 saves in gaining his second win of the season against Pittsburgh. Marc-Andre Fleury had 28 saves for the Penguins (29-12-1). "Especially in this building, weve been playing them well," said Brodeur, who improved his season record to 12-8-3. "Were trying to play well against good teams. We want to play well against everybody, but we have that little fear of the Penguins because we know how damaging they can be. So it brings out the best in us." Henrique scored his ninth goal with a nifty finish of a pass from Ryan Clowe. Henrique made a quick move into the clear in front of the net and then lifted a shot over the left shoulder of Penguins goalie Fleury. Ryder was credited with an assist on the goal. A few minutes later, the Devils lost veteran winger Patrik Elias after he was knocked to the ice by Pittsburghs Tanner Glass. Elias was face down on the ice and didnt move until medical personnel reached him. He got up slowly to his knees and then managed to skate off. He did not return. "It wasnt precautionary," Devils coach Pete DeBoer said about his decision to hold Elias out. "I dont think there was an option. I talked to him between periods and he explained the play and told me it was awkward. But I dont know anything yet." Brodeur earned his 44th career assist when he started the play that led to Ryders 1th goal of the season at 2:45 of the second. Brodeur cleared the puck to Ryder, who skated past the blue line and into the middle before losing the puck. But Henrique quickly regained possession and sent it back into the middle, where Ryder fired his shot past Fleury. Matt Niskanen cut it to 2-1 for Pittsburgh at 6:58 of the second from the right circle off a Crosby feed that beat Brodeur to his glove side. Sidney Crosby picked up his 23rd assist of the season on the goal and teammate Chris Kunitz registered his 22nd assist on the play. The opening minutes of the game were frenetic for Brodeur. Kunitz blasted a slap shot that bounced off the right shoulder of Brodeur. Seconds later, Kunitz missed a chance at an open net with Brodeur down on far side of the goal. "I wish that one would have gone in, too," Kunitz said. "He made a nice save, got his shoulder on that one. Hes a good goaltender. He knows how the play the angles, thats for sure." NOTES: Sidney Crosby had an assist in the second period to give him nine goals and 23 points for the month of December and has now produced a point in 13 of the last 14 games for Pittsburgh. . The Devils held the Penguins to just one power play in the entire game, which came in the closing minutes of the third period. Javi Martinez Jersey . A late rally prevented that. Dioner Navarro hit a tiebreaking single in a three-run eighth inning, and the Cubs beat Atlanta 3-1 Saturday to keep the Braves on the brink of the NL East title. Atlantas magic number remained at one to clinch its first division title since 2005. Second-place Washington was rained out against Miami later Saturday. Either way, the Cubs didnt have to watch a celebration. "One day, hopefully, thatll be us and we can move forward from that," Travis Wood said. The Cubs are a long way from contention, of course. They have 90 losses and are last in the NL Central, with another brutal season coming to a finish. Not having to witness the Braves clinching was just one small victory. "It was nice not to have to see (a celebration) in person," manager Dale Sveum said. Starlin Casto singled off Kris Medlen with one out in the eighth, pinch-hitter Donnie Murphy singled against Scott Downs (2-1) and Anthony Rizzo hit a tying double down the left-field line. Navarro singled in the go-ahead run against David Carpenter, and Nate Schierholtz added a sacrifice fly. "They just made some good swings," Laird said. "Rizzo went out and got that ball, hit it down the line. Dioner hit that slider down and in. Youve got to tip your cap to them." Medlen held Chicago to one run and six hits in 7 1-3 innings after going 4-0 with an 0.98 ERA in his previous four starts. "Its tough, but Im a former bullpen guy, and I know how tough that job is," Medlen said. "The dudes do their best. Carlos Villanueva (7-8) relieved Wood with two on and no outs in the eighth after Justin Upton doubled and Freddie Freeman walked. Villanueva induced a double-play grounder by Chris Johnson and a flyout by Evan Gattis. Pedro Strop struck out the side in the ninth for his first save in four chances. Atlanta went ahead in the fourth when Freeman walked and scored on Gattis single. But B.J. Upton also struck out looking with the bases loaded to end the rally. Wood settled down after that, allowing one run, five hits and four walks in seven innings with seven strikeouts. "I had pretty command of most my pitches, being able to locate my fastball and getting the cutter on their hands and get some early swings and some quick outs," Wood said. "Just that last inning kind of got away from me quick. I really wanted to go out there and finish it strong and maybe overtried a little bit and left a pitch over that Upton could hit and Freeman battled me." NOTES: Braves manager Fredi Gonzalez said OF Jason Heyward "was feeling great," a day after Heyward returned from the disabled list. ATLANTA -- The New Orleans Saints have won plenty of games with their dazzling offence. Nike Blazer Uomo Saldi . The defence is doing its part, too. Drew Brees threw a pair of touchdown passes in the first half and the guys on the other side made sure that was enough, sending the Saints to a 17-13 victory over the Atlanta Falcons on Thursday night. "Were rolling and we cant stop," said Cameron Jordan, who led the way as New Orleans sacked Atlantas Matt Ryan five times. "Weve got to get better." Brees threw a 44-yard touchdown pass to Jimmy Graham and a 1-yarder to Benjamin Waton, giving the first-place Saints (9-2) a sweep of the season series with their NFC South rivals. Atlanta (2-9) dropped its fifth straight game, clinched its first losing season since 2007 and was officially eliminated from the division race with five weeks remaining. The Falcons had a chance to pull off the upset, driving to the Saints 29 with less than 3 minutes to go. But New Orleans turned up the pressure on Ryan, Atlanta missed a long field goal, and the Saints ran off all but the last 5 seconds. New Orleans also forced a crucial fumble early in the fourth quarter. Keyunta Dawson stripped the ball from Falcons rookie receiver Darius Johnson, and Corey White fell on it at the Saints 13. "We knew coming here was going to be a challenge," Saints coach Sean Payton said. "The two teams, the history, regardless of the record it has always been a close game, and tonight was no exception." The Georgia Dome rocked with chants of "Who Dat! Who Dat!" as the final seconds ticked off the clock, the Saints ensuring they will remain alone atop the NFC South and just one game behind Seattle for home-field advantage throughout the NFC playoffs. New Orleans will face the Seahawks on Dec. 2 in what shapes up as one of the biggest games of the year. "The identity of the team is still developing," said Jordan, who was credited with 2 1/2 sacks. The Falcons had hoped to salvage a bit of pride in this lost season, driving from their own 9 -- actually, the 3 after Ryan was sacked -- to the Saints 29. But Ryan was sacked again by Jordan and hurried into a pair of incompletions. As the crowd groaned, the Falcons surprisingly sent on Matt Bryant to attempt a 52-yard field goal. He knocked one through, but the Saints called timeout just before the snap. His next try sailed wide of the left upright. Brees and the offence took it from there, assuring Atlanta had time for only one desperate play at the end. "We responded to momentum changes and some adversity in the football game," Falcons coach Mike Smith said. "But it was still not good enough. If you dont win, its not good enough." Brees was 23 of 33 for 278 yards. Ryan was 30 of 39 for 297 yards, but Atlantas offence produced only one touchdown -- the fourth time that has happened during its current skid. The Falcons, who had been outscored 135-61 over their previous four games, put together an impressive drive on their opening possession. Steven Jackson carried it five times for 24 yards, the last of them a dive into the end zone on third-and-goal at the Saints 1 to give Atlanta its first lead in nearly a month. The Falcons had gone nearly 15 quarters -- almost four full games -- since being up 3-0 over Arizona early in Week 8. The advantage didnt last long. Brees guided a 15-play, 78-yard drive in which the Saints converted five straight times on third down, including Watsons leaping catch in the back of the end zone. Bryant put the Falcons back ahead with the first of his two field goals, a 39-yarder early in the second quarter, but New Orleans grabbed the lead for good when Graham slipped behind the secondary and hauled in his long touchdown. He celebrated by dunking over the goalpost and hung on the crossbar for extra emphasis, and ended up bending the post. As the Saints lined up to attempt the extra point, the officials noticed the crooked uprights, leading to a brief delay as a worker came out with a ladder to straighten the bar. The Falcons got in position to recapture the lead, driving to the New Orleans 10. On third-and-goal, Ryan couldnt find an open receiver and took off running, briefly spotting a path to the end zone. But the Saints closed in quickly, prompting Ryan to slide down at the 6 rather than risk an injury. Some Atlanta fans booed as Matty Ice trotted off the field. Atlanta settled for another field goal from 24 yards and trailed 14-13 at the half. The Falcons got no closer. The only points of the second half came on Garrett Hartleys 41-yard field goal. NOTES: Graham had five receptions for 100 yards. ... Saints DE Akiem Hicks had 1 1/2 sacks. ... Falcons CB Desmond Trufant went out in the first half with a thigh injury, but returned to the game after halftime. ... The Jets are now 0-5-1 in the second game of back-to-backs. As per team policy, terms of the agreement were not disclosed. St. Pierre, who had been eligible to become a free agent on Feb. 15, played 14 regular-season games for the Stamps in 2013, seeing action on both special teams and as a blocker at fullback. He recorded eight special-teams tackles and scored his first CFL touchdown on July 20 at home against Montreal. He also played in the Western Final. "Tim is a hard-working player who has been a great asset to us on special teams since joining us three years ago and who has done a great job of making the transition to fullback," said head coach and general manager John Hufnagel. "He is a consummate professional and I am pleased that he chosen to continue his career in Calgary."t; St. Adidas Zx Flux Scontate. In six CFL seasons, he has registered 51 special-teams tackles, 14 defensive tackles and two catches for 14 yards and a touchdown. "Re-signing was a pretty easy decision, especially since everyone seems to be on the same page and so many players have already signed contracts to come back," said St. Pierre, a 27-year-old native of Hamilton, Ont. COLLEGE STATION, Texas -- Johnny Football and No. http://www.hurricanesfansstore.com/Elias-Lindholm-Jersey/ . 10 Texas A&Ms offence dominated as usual against SMU. The difference on Saturday night was that the Aggies defence was solid, too. Johnny Manziel accounted for 346 yards with three touchdowns in just more than a half to help Texas A&M cruise to a 42-13 win over SMU. Texas A&M (3-1) was up 32-6 at halftime, and Manziel led the Aggies to a touchdown on their first drive of the third quarter before the Heisman Trophy winner went to the bench. The defence, which struggled as it dealt with suspensions early this season, had given up 36 points a game through the first three games. Defensive co-ordinator Mark Snyder made some personnel changes this week to help the Aggies improve. "Weve still got some areas weve got to work on, but a much better game from our side of the ball," Snyder said. "Were still a work in progress, for sure, but as long as I keep seeing improvement each week I think well be fine." It was a nice bounce-back game for Texas A&M after falling to top-ranked Alabama 49-42 last week. "I think we learned some valuable lessons a week ago," A&M coach Kevin Sumlin said. "I think we can get a little bit more confidence coming out of this game with our defence." Manziel had 244 yards passing with a touchdown and ran for 102 yards and two more scores. "We tried a little of everything," SMU coach June Jones said of trying to slow Manziel. "Hes an amazing player. You blitz him and hes accurate with the ball. You rush three, and he can scramble around and make it last forever. Hes a great college football player and hes in the perfect system." The Aggies have scored at least 40 points in each of their first four games for the first time in school history. Deshazor Everett returned a fumble 12 yards for a touchdown, and Ben Malena ran for 71 yards and two scores. He got things going for A&M with a 3-yard touchdown run in the first quarter. Former Texas quarterback Garrett Gilbert threw for 310 yards and a touchdown with an interception for SMU (1-2). Despite the lopsided score, Texas A&Ms performance was far from flawless. The Aggies missed three straight PATs in the second quarter and were penalized 13 times for 114 yards. The Mustangs didnt play any cleaner, and piled up 16 penalties for 111 yards. The Aggies took a 14-0 lead when Manziel sidestepped a defender before high-stepping over another one en route to the end zone on a 7-yard run later in the first. Texas A&M recovered an onside kick and was driving again when a pass by Manziel was deflected and intercepted by Hayden Greenbauer. The Mustangs cut the lead to 14-3 when the ensuing drive resulted in a 42-yard field goal by Chase Hover. Manziel rolled out and found Malcome Kennedy on a 16-yard touchdown pass that extended the lead to 20-3 early in the second quarter. Taylor Bertolets kick failed. Manziels second 7-yard touchdown run made it 32-3 just more than three minutes later, but Bertolet missed again. Jeremiah Gaines fumbled after a reception on the first play of SMUs next drive, and Everett scooped it up and returned it for the score. Sumlin had seen enough of Bertolet and brought in Josh Lambo to attempt the PAT. But holder Drew Kaser fumbled the snap, and the kick was blocked. Sumlin said Bertolet and Lambo will compete for the job. A 47-yard field goal by Hover as time expired in the second quarter left A&M up 32-6 at halftime. Manziel had a nifty run on A&Ms first possession after halftime. He evaded three defenders that had hands on him to dash down the sideline on a 20-yard run. Malenas 1-yard run two plays later -- and a made extra point by Lambo -- made it 39-6. He was replaced by Matt Joeckel, who started A&Ms opener while Manziel served an NCAA suspension. Joeckel threw for 63 yards before Sumlin brought in freshman Kenny Hill. Lambos 40-yard field goal extended A&Ms lead to 42-6 near the end of the third quarter. A 31-yard touchdown reception by Keenan Holman made it 42-13 early in the fourth quarter. Holman finished with 10 receptions for 133 yards. http://www.hurricanesfansstore.com/James-Wisniewski-Jersey/ . - NASCAR announced a 33-race schedule for the 2014 Nationwide Series with virtually no changes from this years slate. http://www.hurricanesfansstore.com/ . Atlanta Mayor Kasim Reed announced a preliminary $14.5 million agreement Friday under which officials would acquire the site of the historic Mount Vernon Baptist Church. NEW YORK, N. http://www.sf49ersteamshop.com/authentic-marcus-martin-49ers-jersey/ .Y. - Nelson Mandela will be honoured by the New York Yankees with a plaque in Monument Park. The team said Monday the plaque will be dedicated during Jackie Robinson Day ceremonies before a game against the Chicago Cubs next April 15. The former South African president, who died last week, gave an address at old Yankee Stadium on June 21, 1990, four months after the end of a 27-year imprisonment. He put on a Yankees cap and jacket and told the crowd: "You know who I am. I am a Yankee." Yankees managing general partner Hal Steinbrenner says Mandelas visit "was a transcendent moment in the history of the original Yankee Stadium." Steinbrenner says "we want this plaque to be an everlasting tribute to his indomitable spirit and unfailing dignity." http://www.sf49ersteamshop.com/authentic-daniel-kilgore-49ers-jersey/ . ENGLEWOOD, Colo. http://www.soccerwalesshop.com/joe-allen-wales-jersey/ . - John Fox has had it with Von Millers transgressions. Now, the Denver Broncos are waiting to see if NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell has, too. The All-Pro linebacker, whos serving a six-game suspension for violating the leagues drug-abuse policy, was cited last week for speeding and driving with a suspended license, his second run-in with the law in less than a month. "Obviously, its something that were not happy about," Fox said Wednesday. "Everybody here has an individual responsibility not only to themselves but to this organization, as well as to this football team. So, obviously its something that were not pleased about. Ill leave it at that." Asked if he felt if this latest citation could result in a longer banishment for Miller, the Broncos coach said, "Youd have to ask the commissioner that. Thats not my lane." The NFL declined comment. Yet another traffic violation surfaced late Wednesday when the Denver Post reported that Miller has an open warrant for his arrest in California. A spokeswoman for the Orange County District Attorneys Office told the newspaper that Miller has a warrant for failure to appear on a traffic ticket issued last year. The leagues conduct policy states that discipline is possible for "conduct that undermines or puts at risk the integrity and reputation of the NFL, NFL clubs, or NFL players," and the commissioner has pledged to take a sterner approach with repeat offenders. However, traffic violations have generally not been a part of the leagues conduct policy. Arapahoe County Sheriff Grayson Robinson said Miller was cited on Sept. 5 near his home for speeding and driving with a suspended license. Hes due in court on Oct. 28. The traffic stop occurred at 10:30 a.m. on the day the Broncos kicked off the NFL season against the Baltimore Ravens, the first regular season game that Miller missed for repeated violations of the leagues drug-abuse policy. Robinson said Miller was pulled over for going 38 mph in a 25 mph residential zone and a routine computer check revealed he was driving with a suspended license. Miller was with his father, Von Sr., who was then allowed to drive the vehicle, a black BMW thats registered to Millers mother, Gloria, according to the summons and complaint. The officer who pulled Miller over wrote in capital letters on the summons: MUST APPEAR IN COURT, and he circled it. Miller was arrested on Aug. 10 when he tried to make a firearm purchase at a gun club near the Broncos practice facilities. A routine background check revealed he had an outstanding warrant for failing to appear in court on multiple charges from last October, when he was cited for driving carelessly and lacking a license and proof of insurance. Millers teammates are "still going to be there for him and help him make good decisions all the time," linebacker and co-captain Wesley Woodyard said after practice. "Hes like my little brother, so Im always going to be tough on him. ... Im always going to tell him to do the right thing." Miller has been working out and attending meetings at Broncos headquarters but isnt allowed to speak with the media during his suspension. He wasnt in the locker room Wednesday as he had been during the 45-minute period that was open to reporters Monday. He has politely declined all interviews since his suspension was handed down on Aug. 20. Miller had 30 sacks in his first two NFL seasons. He was the Defensive Rookie of the Year in 2011 after the Broncos made him the second overall pick out of Texas A&M. He set the franchise record with 18 1/2 sacks last season, leading Broncos Executive Vice-President John Elway to call him the best player hes ever seen. Miller first made headlines in the off-season when he guaranteed the Broncos would win the Super Bowl. Because of his suspension that could cost him more than $2 million in lost salary and prorated signing bonuses, he cant start to back up that boast until Week 7 when Denver plays at Indianapolis — providing he doesnt face additional discipline. Notes: Woodyard (ankle, foot) said hell return to practice Thursday and will play against the Giants this weekend. ... CB Champ Bailey worked with the strength and conditioning coach during practice, an indication hes getting close to returning to practice for the first time since spraining his left foot Aug. 17. ... Canadian mixed martial artist Georges St-Pierre successfully defended his welterweight title in both bouts he contested in 2013, but will end the year without the gold around his waist for the first time since 2007. Nike Roshe One Print Floral . On Mar. 16, coming off a "fight of the year" performance at UFC 154 the previous November, St-Pierre faced Nick Diaz at UFC 158 in what would be his eighth defence of the welterweight title. Using his superior athleticism, St-Pierre cruised to a five round, unanimous decision victory setting up a much-anticipated title defence against number one contender Johny Hendricks. While the victory over Diaz was standard issue dominance from St-Pierre, his Nov. 16 bout at UFC 167 against Hendricks was hotly contested and had a controversial finish. Despite the fact that most people covering the fight scored the victory for the challenger and post-fight metrics, as well as St-Pierres face showed Hendricks was more effective, two of the three judges scoring the bout gave the advantage to the champion allowing him to leave with a split decision victory. UFC president Dana White was irate after the fight even calling for the Nevada Governor to launch an investigation into the Nevada State Athletic Commission. It was clear something was also wrong with St-Pierre when after the fight he said that he needed to step away from the UFC, causing speculation that he was going to announce his retirement. Finally on Dec. 13, St-Pierre announced that due to personal issues which he did not reveal, he would be taking an extended break from the UFC as well as vacating the welterweight title he has proudly defended since 2008. "Im going to take a break. I need this," said St-Pierre. "I need to have a normal life for a bit. Ill feel better and come back stronger." Whether this is the end of St-Pierres career or just a bump in the road, he will easily find his way into the UFC Hall of Fame and go down as one of the greatest to ever step into the Octagon. Air Jordan 5 Retro Shop . -- Former San Diego Chargers safety Paul Oliver was found dead at his Atlanta-area home Tuesday night, and a medical examiner said Wednesday that the ex-player committed suicide. Air Jordan Scarpe Online .com) - Manchester City midfielder David Silva is expected to miss the next four weeks because of a calf problem. http://www.airjordan2016.it/nike-roshe-saldi/nike-roshe-one-flyknit.html . -- Five former Kansas City Chiefs players who were on the team between 1987 and 1993 filed a lawsuit Tuesday claiming the team hid and even lied about the risks of head injuries during that time period when there was no collective bargaining agreement in place in the NFL. KITCHENER, Ont. -- Edmontons Val Sweeting is two wins away from a trip to Winnipeg to play in Canadas Road of the Rings in December. Sweeting claimed a berth in the Page playoffs on Friday, beating Tracy Horgan of Sudbury, Ont., 5-3 in one of a pair of womens C-Event finals at the Olympic curling pre-trials. "It feels great," said Sweeting, who will face Calgarys Cheryl Bernard on Saturday. "We played really well today and we want to keep it up tomorrow and put ourselves in a position today. Thats what we did today. The team played really well, so to come out on top is confidence-boosting for sure." On Friday night, Sweeting had a tight game going with Horgan, who represented Ontario at the 2012 Scotties Tournament of Hearts, through six ends. But with Horgan holding a slim 2-1 lead, Sweeting was able to make a clutch hit to score a game-changing three, and never looked back, although she needed to make a delicate tap with her final rock of the 10th end to nail down the win. Bernard, meanwhile, prevailed 10-8 in an extra end over Cathy Auld of Mississauga, Ont., in a topsy-turvy affair that saw Bernard race to a 5-2 lead through four ends, then fall behind 8-6 through nine. But Bernard made a spectacular triple takeout to score a game-tying deuce in the 10th, and then stole the winning pair in 11 when Auld was wide on her game-winning draw to bite the button. The winner of the Sweeting-Bernard game will move into Sundays qualifying game for the Roar of the Rings Canadian curling trials in Winnipeg -- the event that will decide Canadas teams for the 2014 Winter Olympics in Sochi. Jordan 4 Retro Shop Italia. "We were definitely here to win," said Sweeting. "Were in a position to do that, so we have definitely met our expectations." The first womens Trials qualifier will be decided Saturday night between A-Event winner Kelly Scott of Kelowna, B.C., and B-Event winner Renee Sonnenberg of Grande Prairie, Alta. The loser of that game will play the Sweeting-Bernard winner. In mens play, reigning Brier champ Brad Jacobs of Sault Ste. Marie, Ont., ran his win streak to four games on Friday night with a 9-6 win over Saskatoons Steve Laycock in the B-Event final. That set up a tantalizing Page playoff A-B game Saturday against A-Event winner John Morris and his Kelowna/Vernon, B.C., team. Jacobs took control of his game Friday night by scoring three in the fifth end, and then took advantage of a Laycock miscue in the ninth to score a deuce out of thin air. "Mission accomplished," said Jacobs. "Were in that A-B game, we have two shots to go to the Trials. We really came out and played well today, and we got a few breaks honestly. But sometimes you need those breaks to get the wins, and well take it." In C-Event play, meanwhile, Jake Higgs of Glencoe, Ont., stole a big deuce in the eighth end -- the turning point in an 8-7 win over Joe Frans of Bradford, Ont. Higgs advanced to a C-Event semifinal clash with 2006 Olympic gold-medallist Brad Gushue of St. Johns, N.L., while Frans was eliminated with the loss. Cheap Jerseys Wholesale Jerseys Wholesale Jerseys Cheap Jerseys Cheap NFL Jerseys Cheap Jerseys China Wholesale Jerseys ' ' '

EDEN PRAIRIE, Minn. http://www.hurricanesfansstore.com/Riley-Nash-Jersey/ . -- The Minnesota Vikings will play without middle linebacker Erin Henderson this weekend, giving Audie Cole his first career start instead. Henderson has missed practice all week due to an unspecified personal matter, and coach Leslie Frazier on Friday ruled the teams leading tackler out of the game at Green Bay. Cole, a seventh-round draft pick last year, was cut for a few days earlier this month in favour of depth at another position and brought back for the last game at Seattle. So here he is, about to be in the starting lineup at Lambeau Field. "Pumped," Cole said, adding: "Im excited for my opportunity to get to go out and do what Ive been waiting for, for a year and a half now." Another starter, defensive end Brian Robison, was listed as questionable for Sunday because of a muscle spasm in his neck that prevented him from taking part in practice Friday. With Jared Allen and Everson Griffen, the Vikings have only two other defensive ends on the active roster. Defensive tackle Letroy Guion will be back after missing the last two weeks because of a chest injury, so at least theyll have a deeper rotation in the middle. The Vikings had better news on the other side of the ball. Running back Adrian Peterson returned to practice on a limited basis after sitting out the last two days to rest his sore groin. Hes listed as questionable, along with wide receiver Greg Jennings (Achilles) and centre John Sullivan (concussion), who also returned to practice on a limited basis. All three are expected to play. Jennings didnt play last week at Seattle. For Cole, patience paid off. He was told the plan prior to being released on Nov. 7, so Kevin Murphy could be elevated from the practice squad as insurance at offensive tackle with Phil Loadholt still recovering from a concussion for the game against Washington. Sure enough, two days later, Cole was back on the active roster. "Its still not cool. Its not what you want to happen," Cole said. "I understand why they did it. Someone had to go. I wish it wasnt me, but it was. Youve just got to take it. I came back, and things have been going good for me lately." His backup will be rookie Michael Mauti, a fellow seventh-round pick. Mauti had some swelling in his left knee, on which he had reconstructive surgery as a senior at Penn State. His third anterior cruciate ligament injury in a five-year span caused him to slip down the draft board. Mauti has excelled on special teams with 10 tackles, third most on the team. He shrugged off the suggestion that his recent minor injury was bad timing, given the opening created by Hendersons absence. He said hes sure hell get plenty of playing time. "You cant control what happens to you in a football game. I know that better than anybody," he said. "But Im not going to be limited Sunday, so thats really all that matters."http://www.hurricanesfansstore.com/Jordan-Staal-Jersey/ . The return match will take place next Wednesday. Udinese leads Fiorentina 2-1 in the other semifinal. Napoli staged a second-half comeback from two goals down after Gervinhos opener and a stunning strike from Kevin Strootman.http://www.hurricanesfansstore.com/Jeff-Skinner-Jersey/ . -- Quarterback Will Finch threw for 252 yards and three touchdowns, and Yannick Harou rushed in two scores as the No. http://www.hurricanesfansstore.com/John-Michael-Liles-Jersey/ .ca looks back at the stories and moments that made the year memorable. A look back at Week Two of the NFL season, including Aaron Rodgers greatness, Julio Jones going deep, the Chargers better than expected, big numbers from the Eagles, lots of running back injuries and more. 1. Packers QB Aaron Rodgers (34-for-42, 480 YDS, 2 TD) staked his claim to the throne as the best player in the game. Left out of the action in Week One, WR James Jones (11 REC, 178 YDS, 12 targets) made up for it this week. WR Randall Cobb (9 REC, 128 YDS, 1 TD) had another big game and WR Jordy Nelson (3 REC, 66 YDS, 2 TD, 4 targets) made the most of his few opportunities. 2. Though he missed some practice time during the week, Falcons WR Julio Jones (11 REC, 182 YDS, 1 TD, 14 targets) had a monster game against the Rams. Thus the cautionary tale to not downgrade someone just because of a missed practice or two. 3. Chargers QB Philip Rivers (36-for-47, 419 YDS, 3 TD) was outstanding against the Eagles. TE Antonio Gates (8 REC, 124 YDS, 10 targets) and WR Eddie Royal (7 REC, 90 YDS, 3 TD) are prime targets if Rivers is in fine form. Royal now has five touchdowns in two weeks after 10 in the previous five seasons. 4. Chargers WR Malcom Floyd (5 REC, 102 YDS, 6 targets) was crushed by a hit from Eagles LB DeMeco Ryans that sent Floyd to the hospital with a neck injury. Floyd is apparently okay and rejoined teammates for the flight home. 5. It was a losing effort, but Eagles QB Michael Vick (23-for-36, 428 YDS, 2 TD, 1 rush TD) had a monster game, hitting WR DeSean Jackson (9 REC, 193 YDS, 1 TD, 15 targets) for a good portion of the damage. 6. One week after shredding Green Bays secondary for 412 yards passing, 49ers QB Colin Kaepernick (13-for-28, 127 YDS, 3 INT, 87 rush YDS, 9 carries) was stymied by Seattles defence. Its a testament to Seattles defence, which includes the leagues best secondary, but also a warning sign for Kaepernick who has shown brilliance, but has also made just nine career starts. 7. It wasnt just Kaepernick getting locked down by Seattles D. 49ers RB Frank Gore had 30 yards on 10 touches, including 16 rushing yards on nine carries, and WR Anquan Boldin (1 REC, 7 YDS, 4 targets) was locked down one week after going for 208 yards against the Packers. WR Kyle Williams (4 REC, 39 YDS, 6 targets) was the 49ers receiving leader. 8. With WR Danny Amendola out, Patriots QB Tom Brady revealed his trust in WR Julian Edelman, targeting him 18 times (13 REC, 78 YDS) against the Jets. The rookies were a little more troubling. Aaron Dobson (3 REC, 56 YDS, 1 TD) had several drops in his 10 targets, while Kenbrell Thompkins (2 REC, 47 YDS) was targeted seven times. Brady didnt hide his displeasure with the newbies, but they are what he has right now, so hell have to find a way to make it work. 9. Lions RB Reggie Bush suffered a knee injury against Arizona, creating a potential opportunity for Lions RB Joique Bell (72 YDS, 13 touches), who has been productive (164 YDS, 2 TD) through the first two weeks. 10. Packers RB Eddie Lacy was knocked out of Sundays game with a concussion, after a head-shot from Redskins SS Brandon Meriweather. In Lacys absence, RB James Starks rumbled for 168 yards from scrimmage and one touchdown on 24 touches. If Lacys out, Starks sure has some appeal after that performance. 11. Bills QB E.J. Manuel (27-for-39, 296 YDS, 1 TD, 1 INT) was more inclined to throw downfield in his second start, rallying the Bills from an eight-point deficit to score the winning touchdown with two seconds remaining in the fourth quarter. Mentioned last week that WR Steve Johnson (8 REC, 111 YDS, 1 TD, 10 targets) wouldnt maximize his value with Manuel playing so close to the vest, but that doesnt look like such a concern after Game Two, especially now that the Bills have seen Manuel can lead a crunch-time drive. 12. Seahawks RB Marshawn Lynch does some of his best work against the 49ers, one of the leagues best run defences. In Week Two, it was 135 yards and three touchdowns on 31 touches, but in seven career games against the Niners, Lynch has averaged 108.6 yards from scrimmage. Among teams that hes played at least three times, Lynch has averaged more yards from scrimmage against only Cleveland (128.0) and Dallas (121.0). 13. Eagles RB LeSean McCoy was held to 53 yards rushing against San Diego but, taking receptions into account, he ended up with 167 yards on 16 touches and leads the league with 356 yards from scrimmage through two weeks. 14. Washington QB Robert Griffin III (26-for-40, 320 YDS, 3 TD, 1 INT) ultimately had fine numbers but, not unlike Week One, there were a lot of empty calories in there, scoring three touchdowns once the Packers had raced out to a 31-0 lead. 15. Bills RB C.J. Spiller had 129 yards on 20 touches, a productive day, but backup RB Fred Jackson had 16 touches, gaining 59 yards. When the Bills were making noise in camp about giving Spiller so many touches ("until he throws up", I seem to recall), there wasnt the expectation that Spiller would have 42 touches compared to Fred Jacksons 33 touches through two games. 16. Ravens RB Ray Rice left Sundays game with a hip flexor strain. Bernard Pierce (57 YDS, 1 TD, 19 carries) saw more action in Rices absence. 17. Falcons RB Steven Jackson injured after three carries for zero yards and an eight-yard touchdown reception. Jacquizz Rodgers (45 YDS, 15 touches) wasnt very effective in relief. 18. Texans rookie WR DeAndre Hopkins (7 REC, 117 YDS, 1 TD, 13 targets) announced his presence, but also indicated that QB Matt Schaub isnt afraid to throw to him. Its never easy for rookie receivers, particularly those across from a proven star, but Hopkins might be in line for some strong first-year numbers. Also, note that Texans WR Andre Johnson was being evaluated for a concussion after Sundays game. 19. Rams QB Sam Bradford (32-for-555, 352 YDS, 3 TD, 1 INT) had a produtive game, with wideouts Chris Givens (5 REC, 105 YDS, 8 targets), Austin Pettis (8 REC, 78 YDS, 1 TD, 11 targets) and Tavon Austin (6 REC, 47 YDS, 2 TD, 12 targets) all getting in on the act. Im still reserving judgment on Austin, the eighth overall pick in the draft, who has 88 yards (and those two touchdowns) through two games -- its hard for rookie receivers to make an immediate impact. 20. Bears RB Matt Forte rolled up 161 yards on 30 touches (including 11 REC on 11 targets) against the Vikings. Considering what Lions RB Reggie Bush did to the Vikings in Week One, that should make Week Threes opponents (Cleveland RB Trent Richardson) more appealing. 21. Dolphins QB Ryan Tannehill (24-for-34, 319 YDS, 1 TD) generally had his way against the Colts defence. After Terrelle Pryors play in Week One, going up against the Colts defence is starting to look like a pretty good matchup, even for quarterbacks that arent top tier. http://www.hurricanesfansstore.com/Chris-Terry-Jersey/. Next week, they are in San Francisco to take on Kaepernick and the 49ers. 22. Browns TE Jordan Cameron (5 REC, 95 YDS, 7 targets) had another strong week and ranks second among tight ends with 203 yards receiving through two weeks. The Browns top target was WR Greg Little (4 REC, 33 YDS, 12 targets), so they could probably use WR Josh Gordon, suspended for the first two weeks, anytime now. 23. Bears TE Martellus Bennett (7 REC, 76 YDS, 2 TD) is getting more looks than WR Alshon Jeffrey. Through two weeks, Bennett ranks seventh among tight ends with 16 targets. While its becoming all the rage to have former college basketballers at tight end, its worth noting that Bennett played a little bit of hoops at Texas A & M. 24. Texans RB Arian Foster accumulated some yardage late, ending up with 85 yards and a touchdown on 20 touches. Its not ideal production, yet, but even off this slow start, hes on pace for 1,400 yards from scrimmage. 25. Saints TE Jimmy Graham (10 REC, 179 YDS, 1 TD) had the kind of game against Tampa Bay that provided assurance to all those that took him as the top tight end in fantasy circles. With Rob Gronkowski out, no one else is in Grahams class. 26. Broncos RB Knowshon Moreno (107 YDS, 2 TD, 16 touches) was much more productive than rookie Montee Ball (43 YDS, 14 touches) even though they had a similar workload. Moreno is the best option in Denver right now while Ronnie Hillman is quickly the forgotten man. 27. With RB Vick Ballard out for the season, Colts RB Ahmad Bradshaw (84 YDS, 1 TD, 18 touches) took on a little more work in Week Two. As long as he stays healthy, Bradshaw should be productive and able to handle even more touches. RB Donald Brown (30 YDS, 7 carries) moved into the No. 2 spot on the depth chart with Ballard injured. 28. Cowboys WR Dez Bryant (9 REC, 141 YDS, 1 TD, 13 targets) was back in business, after an ineffective first week and his production came at the expense of WR Miles Austin (3 REC, 31 YDS, 4 targets) and TE Jason Witten (3 REC, 12 YDS, 8 targets). 29. Broncos WR Eric Decker (9 REC, 87 YDS, 13 targets) had the biggest day receiving for the Broncos, one week after he was the fourth receiving option against Baltimore in the opener. 30. Washington WR Pierre Garcon (8 REC, 143 YDS, 1 TD, 13 targets) is clearly Griffins preferred target. 31. After expressing disappointment over his use in Week One, Dolphins WR Mike Wallace (9 REC, 115 YDs, 1 TD, 11 targets) delivered for the Dolphins. 32. Raiders RB Darren McFadden (157 yards, 23 touches) is a fine player when hes in the lineup. Through two weeks, McFadden has 223 yards from scrimmage. Take that production and bank it now. 33. Giants QB Eli Manning threw four interceptions, giving him seven in two games this season and leads the NFL with 63 interceptions thrown since the start of the 2010 season. 34. Nonetheless, Giants WR Victor Cruz (8 REC, 118 YDS, 11 targets) and TE Brandon Myers (6 REC, 74 YDS, 10 targets) had productive games when Manning was throwing to the right team. 35. Dolphins FB/TE Charles Clay (5 REC, 109 YDS, 7 targets) had a big day and now has 163 receiving yards through two games, ahead of all fullbacks and behind only three tight ends (Jimmy Graham, Jordan Cameron and Antonio Gates). 36. Colts WR T.Y. Hilton (6 REC, 124 YDS, 12 targets) had a big game for the Colts. With TE Dwayne Allen out, TE Coby Fleener (4 REC, 69 YDS, 8 targets) was also productive -- it was Fleeners highest yardage total since the first game of his career (Wk. 1 last season), when he had 82 yards against the Bears. 37. Jets RB Bilal Powell had 70 yards on 15 touches against the Patriots Thursday, though Chris Ivory led the Jets with 52 rushing yards on a dozen carries. Powell had a touchdown and more total yards, but thats still a pretty close split in terms of touches in the Jets backfield. 38. Jets QB Geno Smith was 15-for-35 with three interceptions against New England. His top targets, with eight apiece, were WR Stephen Hill (4 REC, 86 YDS) and WR Clyde Gates (2 REC, 42 YDS). Eventually, if hes healthy, Santonio Holmes should be the primary target, but second-year deep threat Hill has potential to put up yardage. 39. The Vikings were close with the Bears, but had two returns for touchdowns. WR Cordarrelle Patterson had a 105-yard kickoff return to start the game and DE Bryan Robison had a 61-yard fumble return for a touchdown. To get two touchdown returns and still lose? Thats gonna leave a mark. 40. There is a question of how effective Titans QB Jake Locker will be, particularly as a passer, but it does appear that second-year WR Kendall Wright (7 REC, 54 YDS, 1 TD, 11 targets) is emerging as the best option (ahead of Kenny Britt and Nate Washington) in the Tennessee passing game. 41. Buccaneers QB Josh Freeman (9-for-22, 125 YDS, 1 TD, 1 INT) was horrible against New Orleans -- though this is the second straight week that the Saints defence has been effective -- and yet the Bucs had every opportunity to win for the second straight week. Of course, for the second straight week, they ended up losing. 42. Jaguars RB Maurice Jones-Drew (27 YDS, 10 carries) wasnt terribly effective before suffering a sprained ankle at Oakland. If hes out, Justin Forsett and Jordan Todman are next in line to run the ball for Jacksonville. 43. Bills DE Mario Williams registered 4.5 sacks. For all the criticism he might face, Williams has 63.5 sacks since the start of the 2007 season. Cowboys DE DeMarcus Ware (93.5), Vikings DE Jared Allen (90.5) and Cardinals OLB John Abraham (64.5) are the only defenders with more. 44. Jaguars wide receivers Cecil Shorts (8 REC, 93 YDS, 14 targets) and Ace Sanders (5 REC, 64 YDS, 7 targets) were more productive with Chad Henne (25-for-38, 241 YDS, 1 TD) at quarterback. 45. Giants RB David Wilson (17 YDS, 7 carries) effectively had the No. 1 job, but RB Brandon Jacobs (4 YDS, 1 TD, 7 carries) had as many touches. 46. Buccaneers SS Mark Barron (13 tackles, . 5 sack) is a rising star in the Tampa Bay secondary. 47.
