LONDON -- Arsenal midfielder Jack Wilshere has been handed a two-match ban by the English Football Association for making an abusive gesture toward Manchester City fans during a Premier League match. New Balance 574 Mujer Baratas . The FA rejected Wilsheres appeal that the length of his punishment was "clearly excessive" and said Thursday his suspension begins with immediate effect. He will miss league matches against Chelsea on Monday and West Ham on Dec. 26. The England international raised his middle finger toward City supporters during Saturdays game at Etihad Stadium, which Arsenal lost 6-3. The incident wasnt seen by match officials at the time but the FA charged Wilshere retrospectively after a panel studied video footage. Blackpool winger Tom Ince was given a two-game ban when he was retrospectively charged for a similar incident this season. Nike Air Max 90 Vt Baratas . -- The Baltimore Ravens have put middle linebacker Rolando McClain on the reserve-retired list for a second time. New Balance 574 Baratas . JOHANNESBURG, South Africa -- Charl Schwartzel shot a 3-under 69 Saturday to take a one-shot lead into the final round of the South African Open, the season-opening event on the European Tour. Schwartzel moved to 15-under 201, with Morten Orum Madsen (69) and Marco Crespi (70) tied for second at Glendower Golf Club. South Africas Hennie Otto surged into fourth with a 65, another stroke behind on 13 under. Schwartzel has won just one European Tour title since clinching the Masters in 2011 and has never won his home open. He mixed five birdies with two bogeys to put himself in a good position to claim the first title on the 2014 Race to Dubai. "It was a bit up and down but I think I did what I needed to do," the South African said. "You always think some things could have been better." Madsen also had five birdies and two drops to sit one off the pace alongside Crespi. New Balance 574 Hombre. Otto, the 2011 champion, fired the round of the day to put himself in contention on Sunday despite a triple bogey seven on the par-4 No. 9. Otto responded to that slip with seven birdies in his last eight holes to move into fourth. Italys Andrea Pavan and Spains Alejandro Canizares are tied for fifth on 11 under and Swedens Magnus Carlsson is a shot back in a tie for eighth. Two-time U.S. Open winner Retief Goosen is still just about in contention for a first tournament win since March 2009 after his 70 on Saturday. Goosen is six shots back on Schwartzel after lifting himself with five birdies on his second nine following three dropped shots going out. Former British Open champion David Duval of the United States and European Ryder Cup captain Paul McGinley of Ireland missed the cut. GLENDALE, Ariz. Nike Air Max 90 Azules y Blancas . -- For the first time in seven games, the Boston Bruins actually fell behind. It didnt last, and the third-longest win streak in franchise history is still alive. The Bruins scored three times in the third period, the go-ahead goal by Shawn Thornton with 3:18 to play, and Boston won its 12th in a row, 4-2 over the Phoenix Coyotes on Saturday night. The Bruins are two shy of the franchise mark of 14 straight set in the 1929-30 season. They also have the most points in the NHL with 103, two more than Western Conference-leading St. Louis. The Blues clinched a playoff berth as a result of Phoenixs loss. They managed their third-period rally despite the fact they were playing their second game in as many nights. "Tonight in my mind, it showed a lot of our character," Boston coach Claude Julien said. "We needed to show a lot of character there in the third to come back and we did. We did all the right things and we were determined to win and it showed." Jarome Iginla scored his 27th and 28th goals of the season for Boston, the second into an empty net in the final seconds. Oliver Ekman-Larsson had a spectacular goal to put Phoenix ahead 2-1 in the second period. Shane Doan scored the other Coyotes goal on a power play. The loss snapped Phoenixs three-game winning streak. Tuukka Rask, who did not play in Friday nights win at Colorado, had 30 saves for Boston. Phoenixs Mike Smith had 24. The loss and Dallas victory left the Coyotes two points ahead of the Stars for the final playoff spot in the West. Dallas has a game in hand. Phoenix had a 2-1 lead just 39 seconds into the second period thanks to Ekman-Larssons heroics. He took the puck from his own blue line, then evaded two would-be defenders, making a slick move that left Johnny Boychuk and Loui Eriksson in a heap. Rask deflected the first shot, but Ekman-Larsson knocked the rebound in as he sailed by the net. "I skated it up and I was looking for someone to pass to," Ekman-Larsson said, "but I didnt see anybody so I figured Id do it by myself." It ended a streak of almost 411 minutes, more than 20 periods, that the Bruins had never trailed. It was the first time in seven games that Boston trailed. The Bruins turned up their trademark tough, physical play in the final period. "They try to beat you 1-on-1," Phoenix coach Dave Tippett said, "and we didnt win enough of those 1-on-1 battles at the right times, and it came back to bite us." Boston tied it at 2 when Zdeno Charas shot deflected off Iginlas hip and into the net 3:48 into the third period. With much of the final period played in the Coyotes zone, Boston took the lead when Daniel Paille shot from a difficult angle to the left of the net, but it deflected off Thorntons stick and got past Smith for the score -- only the fifth goal of the season for the Bruins left wing. "Im glad it went in," Thornton said. "Everyone had a lot of chances tonight and it was a little bit frustrating for us until then. I mean, we were creating a lot of stuff, but nothing was going in. Happy we got rewarded for some hard work eventually." Boston took the lead in a hurry in the opening period. After Smith turned the puck over, Patrice Bergeron knocked it in from a crowd in front of the Coyotes net for his 22nd goal of the season, the puck slipping in just past the Coyotes goalies leg. Phoenix tied it when Brandon McMillans shot from close range bounced off Rask and Shane Doan scored to make it 1-1 with 8:15 left in the first. It was the first time in 11 games that the Bruins have allowed a first-period goal. Notes: The Bruins won their seventh straight road game. ... Boston is 16-4-4 against the Western Conference. ... LAKE LOUISE, Alta. -- Manuel Osborne-Paradis and Jan Hudec didnt want to leave home without securing their spots on Canadas Olympic team. The two men bounced back from disappointing downhill races at the Lake Louise World Cup to finish in the top 12 in Sundays super-G. Calgarys Hudec was 10th and Vancouvers Osborne-Paradis finished 12th, which met the criteria to be nominated to the 2014 Olympic team. "We were both talking about how frustrated we were so Im glad I got that out of the way now," Hudec says. "It takes the pressure off. The longer you leave it, the more pressure you put on yourself on tougher courses." They followed Erik Guay of Mont-Tremblant, Que., in meeting the Olympic team standard in Lake Louise. Guay was eighth in Saturdays downhill to qualify for his third Winter Games. The 2014 Winter Olympics are in Sochi, Russia, in February. Aksel Lund Svindal of Norway won the super-G at Lake Louise for the third straight year. Hes won six World Cup races at the Alberta resort during his career. His fifth super-G win broke the record of four previously held by Austrian legend Hermann Maier. Svindals lone downhill victory was last year. "Lake Louise has been good to me," Svindal said. "I won my first World Cup ever here in 2005 and its the one destination where I have the most wins. The super-G just seems to suit me well. "The snow in North America, especially here, and the snow in Scandinavia is more similar than from Scandinavia to Central Europe. I think that has something do to with it. Norwegians tend to do well in North America." Austrians were second and third with Matthias Mayer .24 seconds back of Svindal and Georg Streitberger .38 seconds behind. The men head to Beaver Creek, Colo., and the second stop on the World Cup circuit this 2013-14 season. They trade places with the women, who are travelling from Beaver Creek to Lake Louise this week for downhill races Friday and Saturday and a super-G on Sunday. U.S. ski star Lindsey Vonn has won a record 14 times at Lake Louise and swept all three races the last two years. But the 29-year-old crashed in training last week and partially tore a reconstructed ligament in her right knee. Vonn free skied, but didnt participate in the womens races at Beaver Creek on the weekend. She told The Associated Press she wants to race in Lake Louise. The first of three womens training runs scheduled for Tuesday has been called off because the women were delayed travelling from Colorado to Alberta. In additioon to medals and prize money, medallists at Lake Louise were given white cowboy hats to wear for podium pictures and to take home. Moncler Chalecos Mujer. "Its pretty hard to walk around in Europe and think youre a cowboy," Svindal said. "Its one of those things where you wear them here and think its really cool and you get off the plane in Germany and its not that sweet anymore unless you are a real cowboy." Total prize money at the World Cup was 100,000 Swiss francs ($117,000 Cdn) with 30,000 going to the downhill and super-G winners. The Canadian team departs without a medal at their home race. Osborne-Paradis was the last Canadian man to stand on the podium at Lake Louise when he won the super-G in 2009. "When you look at the results on paper, its not quite where we wanted to be, but for the most part the three guys, Erik, Manny and Jan have good speed and theyre going to be building through the season," said Paul Kristofic, Alpine Canadas vice-president of sports. "Its good to see Erik up to speed so quickly. We didnt actually expect that." Guay tied for 18th in the super-G. Knee surgery in July kept the 2011 world downhill champion off snow until November. The 32-year-old said Lake Louise gave him positive feedback on his progress. "It was to see how the knee reacted, how the back reacted, how the skiing is in race situations," Guay said. "Theres good things that came out of this weekend and I have to build off of that." Hudec and Osborne-Paradis were 22nd and 28th respectively in Saturdays downhill. Hudec rapped his knuckles on the side of his helmet after crossing the super-G finish line Sunday. "That was the old fashioned Im an idiot," Hudec explained. "Even though Im not on the podium today, I knew I could have been. "Even though Im not quite in there, Im happy because I was skiing towards a podium finish. I just made a huge mistake. The reason I was hitting my head is I didnt trust myself for a split second to take a tighter line than what I expected. I ended up out in the weeds as they say." Osborne-Paradis was at a disadvantage with a No. 45 start bib. Courses generally get beaten and chopped up by the first 30 racers down the hill. So finishing 12th was the performance of the day for Canada, according to Kristofic. "Thats great. I needed it," Osborne-Paradis said. "I was really bummed yesterday. Im super-pumped with today. Its good to walk away from here with that Olympic spot." Cheap Jerseys Wholesale Jerseys Wholesale Jerseys Cheap Jerseys Cheap NFL Jerseys Cheap Jerseys China Wholesale Jerseys ' ' '

COLUMBIA, S. Mens Adidas White Trainers .C. -- Injured All-American Jadeveon Clowney is working hard so he can play against Arkansas on Saturday, South Carolina coach Steve Spurrier said on Tuesday. Spurrier said hell know later in the week if Clowney has recovered enough from a strained muscle near his ribcage to get back on the field. Since the 6-foot-6, 274-pound defensive end said shortly before kickoff last Saturday against Kentucky that he was in too much pain to play, there have been questions about whether the potential No. 1 pick in next years NFL draft was shutting it down for the season. Spurrier doesnt believe Clowney is done but didnt rule out the possibility. "Let me say this about Jadeveon, if he never plays another snap, we all should be thankful and appreciative that he came to South Carolina," Spurrier said. "Weve won 26 games, two 11-2 years, the greatest seasons weve had in 120 years. "So none of us need to be upset at Jadeveon. None of us." Spurrier certainly sounded upset Saturday night, saying that if the defensive end didnt want to play for the Gamecocks, he didnt have to and the program would "move on." The coach said since then, he has spoken with Clowney and is confident the junior is committed to finishing the season on the field. "Im all for Jadeveon and his future," Spurier said. " When he is ready to play were going to put him out there. He has been coming to treatment, I think, twice a day and told me he is doing everything he can to try to get ready to play." The eighth-year coach said he was more upset Saturday with how he learned of Clowneys status. Spurrier said he was more frustrated that proper protocol wasnt followed and that word of Clowneys absence in the 35-28 win over Kentucky didnt come from trainers or team doctors. Instead, Spurrier learned about it when he saw Clowney without pads on prior to kickoff. "Obviously, we all handled it poorly. All of us did," Spurrier said. Clowney is expected to talk with the media later Tuesday. It has not been the season expected out of the SECs reigning defensive player of the year. He has just two sacks and 12 tackles. After setting a school mark of 23 1/2 tackles for loss last season, Clowneys got just three stops behind the line of scrimmage this year. Clowney was one of the most talked about player in college football after finishing last season with his helmet-popping hit on Michigans Vincent Smith in the Outback Bowl. Some analysts projected that Clowney would have been the top pick in last years NFL draft as a sophomore, prompting talk he should sit out this year instead of risking on field injury. Clowney eventually purchased $5 million worth of NCAA-allowed insurance. Clowney spent a summer in the spotlight. "The Hit" won the ESPY Award for best play while Clowney met with LeBron James and other celebrities. Spurrier cut off access to Clowney once fall camp began, but the issues continued. When the season began, Clowney looked winded and was bothered by the flu in the opener against North Carolina. He needed IV fluids the day before the Gamecocks played UCF because of illness. Hes been bothered by a flare-up of bone spurs in his right foot and now has the muscle strain that kept him from a practice last Thursday and again on Monday. Clowneys also been frustrated that South Carolinas defence is not playing as well as it had his first two seasons. He said after a 41-30 loss at Georgia that coaches should move him around more, then said the guys on defence had to improve after giving up most of an 18-point lead in a 28-25 win at UCF. Arkansas coach Bart Bielema hopes Clowneys ready to go for his offence. "As is the case any time that youre in this type of situation, Im sure hes going to play, Bielema said. "I think its competitive nature. Its kind of like when we were getting ready to play A&M. At the beginning of this season, people were taking about him (Manziel) being suspended or not." Gamecocks quarterback Connor Shaw said Clowneys situation has not created a problem in the locker room. "All I know is Clowneys helped us win a lot of games," he said. "Its more of a big deal to everyone else instead of us." Adidas Superstar Supercolor Pink . -- Zach Parise had a goal and two assists, Mikael Granlund scored the go-ahead goal on a power play early in the second period and Darcy Kuemper made 31 saves for the Minnesota Wild in a 4-2 victory over the Anaheim Ducks on Tuesday night. INDIANAPOLIS -- Trent Richardsons new NFL home has all the features hes wanted. Moncler Doudoune Soldes . The Colts expect their newest player to become a workhorse running back, grow alongside a young franchise quarterback and carry them into the playoffs for years to come. Its a big change from Clevelands perpetual rebuilding project. One day after the Browns called Richardson to say hed been dealt for a first-round draft pick in 2014, Richardson arrived to a locker room that had his new teammates hooting and hollering, a horde of reporters hanging on every word and the familiar sight of Browns fan Condoleeza Rice watching practice. "Its another chapter in my life and with that Im going to have a chip on my shoulder," Richardson said. "I am going to play football like I know how to play football. However it goes with the Browns, good luck to the Browns the rest of the season, but other than that, Ive got to be here playing football." The Colts (1-1) gave up a draft pick they hope will come at the end of the first round next year to obtain the 5-foot-9, 225-pound Alabama alum. Cleveland gave away three picks to move up one spot and take Richardson just last year. He never quite fit the newest offensive system in Cleveland. Indy now has a quarterback, Andrew Luck, and a running back, Richardson, who were both Heisman Trophy finalists less than 24 months ago and were ranked by most scouting departments as the best players at their positions coming out of college. Colts general manager Ryan Grigson has somehow corralled five of the top 100 players drafted in 2012 -- all of them on offence. Along with Luck and Richardson, the No. 1 and No. 3 overall selections, Indy also has tight ends Coby Fleener, a second-round choice, and Dwayne Allen and receiver T.Y. Hilton, third-round picks. Fleener, who turns 25 on Friday, is the oldest of the bunch. For Grigson, the deal was too good to pass up. He and Cleveland CEO Joe Banner, who worked together previously in Philadelphia, started talking early this week and it didnt take long for Grigson to work something out. Its his 16th trade since coming to Indy in 2012. "You always want to surround a great player like Andrew with weapons, and we had a need at running back," Grigson said. "So we went out and got one." They found a back that the Browns (0-2) gave up on after playing just 17 career games. Richardson rushed for 950 yards as a rookie despite playing most of the season with two broken ribs. This year, under new management, Richardson had only 31 carries for 105 yards. The back Hall of Famer Jim Brown once described as "ordinary" never demonstrated the explosiveness Cleveland new coaching staff wanted. Grigson and the Colts, who are transforming last years vertical game into a more balanced offence that features power running, didnt have the same scouting report. Coach Chuck Pagano referred to Richardson as a "rolling ball of butcher knives" and called him a perfect fit in this system. "All I know is, I got a couple texts from some players I used to coach and it was Wow, congrats and thank you," said Pagano, the Baltimore Ravens former defensive co-ordinator. "And you know why they said thank you, because hes out of the division. That tells you right there. Hes a game-wrecker." Over the past week, starting running back Vick Ballard (right knee), left guard Donald Thomas (quad) and Allen (hip) all landed on season-ending injured reserve. The trade overshadowed those losses and created an instant buzz around town and inside Indys locker room. Richardson will now get a crash course on the Colts offence and is likely to play this weekend at San Francisco. Its still unclear whether Richardson will start over Ahmad Bradshaw, who made his first start with Indy in Sundays 24-20 loss to Miami. But one thing is clear: Richardson is considered one of Indys cornerstones. "We did not bring him in here to, I guess, be the water boy on Sunday," Pagano said. "Hell be ready to roll." Richardson couldnt have asked for more. After trading his No. 33 jersey in for a white No. 34 practice jersey, he said the shock of being traded was starting to wear off and he promised to spend these next few nights pulling all-nighters with Indys playbook and getting comfortable. All he has to do now is fit into his new home. "People cant just stack nine in the box no more," he said. "You think youre going to stack nine in the box, Andrews got an arm for you and you got Reggie Wayne and T.Y. out there, and you got our tight ends that are going to work, too." Notes: After putting Allen on injured reserve, Indy promoted rookie receiver DaRick Rogers from the practice squad to the active roster and signed receiver Danny Coale to the practice squad. ... Pagano said linebacker Pat Angerer (knee) and safety Antoine Bethea (toe) were held out of practice Wednesday but were expected to return Thursday. Safety LaRon Landry (ankle) is listed as day-to-day. Pagano also said receiver David Reed (concussion) was a full participant in practice Wednesday and was feeling well Thursday. Nike Air Max 90 Fleur De Jasmin .Rookie coach Mike Pettines decision to start Brian Hoyer instead of first-round pick Johnny Manziel wasnt popular among fans, but the Browns are 5-3 and in the mix in the AFC North. TAMPA, Fla. Nike Air Max 90 Uomo . -- After losing home-ice advantage on the final day of the regular season, the Montreal Canadiens couldve found satisfaction in splitting the first two games at Tampa Bay Times Forum. Instead, they dominated the Lightning in a 4-1 victory in Game 2 on Friday night to take a two games to none stranglehold on the Atlantic Division semifinals. Even after hearing chants of "Ole, Ole, Ole" and knowing they were heading back to Bell Centre having accomplished everything they set out to do, the Habs werent glowing about their series lead. "Im not pleased until the series is over," defenceman P.K. Subban said. Montreal is halfway toward ending it and moving on, thanks to a second straight strong performance led by two goals from Rene Bourque and 26 saves by goaltender Carey Price. In the process, the Habs chased Anders Lindback out of the Lightning net and even caused the home team to hold a players-only meeting. In the visiting locker-room, there was no need for such a scene because the Habs showed on the ice that theyre on the same page and cruising along. "I think were really focused about the work we have to do," coach Michel Therrien said. "When we approach every game, we dont want to try to see the end result. Our focus, its been like that every game. ... I like the composure of that team, I like the leadership of that team." Therrien also liked how his team reacted to adjustments made by Tampa Bay and how it managed the puck in Game 2. The kind of errors that led to scoring chances against Wednesday night were just about gone. "Its such a fine line in the difference between the games and for us its just been consistent play and were sticking to our systems and were limiting the mistakes," said forward Brendan Gallagher, who scored Montreals third goal of the night. "We just felt comfortable today. We were able to execute our game plan as well as we wanted to and we got rewarded." Sticking to the game plan meant the Habs were able to stay in their comfort zone while taking the Lightning out of theirs. While Tampa Bay had some jump at the start and forced Price to make a handful of early saves, this young group that was playing without Ondrej Palat couldnt cash in before Montreal poured it on. "Nobody likes to be suffocated," Subban said. "Its pretty frustrating if you got a bag over your head and you cant breathe. Its not the best feeling the world. "It is tough when you turn up the ice as a defenceman and you see three forwards, two defencemen and Carey Price standing in the net." Gallagher saw David Desharnais power-play goal 2:34 into the second period as the games turning point. That snapped an 0-for-27 power-play drought dating to March 25. "Thats a great lift for the hockey club," Gallagher said. "It got us going, and we didnt look back from there." From there, Bourque recorded his first multi-goal game since Feb. 2, 2013, scoring his first on a highlight-reel move by blowing past Eric Brewer, undressing Sami Salo and evading Lindbacks poke check. "It was nice to get the puck with speed and make a move there," Bourque said, crediting Thomas Vanek for the no-look pass. "Im not about style points." Price racked up style points making his best save of the night 15:31 into the second on Gaspe, Que., native Cedric Paquette. Paquette fired a loose puck from the top of the crease, and Price managed to get his left pad on it. "I was just kind of scrambling," Price said. "It was just desperation. I cant remember what exactly happened or how it wound up there." That was one of only a handful of difficult saves Price had to make because the play in front of him was stepped up from Game 1. The Lightning limited their blunders, too, but they still found themselves staring at a 2-0 series deficit. "Were not playing well," captain Steven Stamkos said. "Were not going to sugar-coat anything. We have a lot better than these first two games. Its turnovers, its compete level, but we know whats in here. We know we have this group. "People can make excuses. Im not going to sit here and make excuses. Were going to man up and realize we have more to offer." Lightning players held a players-only meeting after the loss, something that coach Jon Cooper fully supported. "When youve got a team that cares, they take it upon themselves," Cooper said. "They understand the magnitude of whats gone on and for them to sit down and gather their thoughts about it, thats why I like that group of guys. "They know whats at hand here, though, and they know theyve got more in them. For them to sit around and talk about, its good for them." Plenty will be talked about before Game 3 Sunday in Montreal, about the Lightning coming back hard with their hopes on the line. Cooper hinted that theyll go back to Lindback even after he pulled him for Kristers Gudlevskis after Bourques second of the night at the 14:39 mark of the third. No matter whos in net for Tampa Bay, the Habs are expecting the Lightnings best. "This is a team thats been resilient all year, theyve got lots of character on that side," Subban said of the Lightning. "Theres no shortage of us knowing how important these games are going back home. "Were not focusing on what the series is. As far as were concerned, our mentality is that the series is 0-0 going back home." Its not 0-0, but Cooper thinks theres still plenty of pressure on the Habs. "Im sure theyre tickled pink to go up 2-zip, but theyve still got to win games," he said. "Theyve got to go home and deliver." Six players who were in Montreal uniforms Friday night were part of the 2011 team that didnt deliver in this situation. Three years ago the Habs took a two games to none lead on the Bruins, winning both games in Boston, before losing the first-round series in seven. That was on Subbans mind after winning Game 2, but he and his teammates are armed with that memory now. "You go deeper and deeper in these types of series the games get more and more important," Subban said. "Were going to have to be ready." NOTES -- Desharnais goal was his first in the Stanley Cup playoffs, while Max Paciorettys secondary assist was his first career playoff point. ... Therrien went with the same lineup from Game 1, while Cooper replaced injured forward Ondrej Palat with defenceman Andrej Sustr. Tampa Bay went with 11 forwards and seven defencemen, a look they featured 40 times in the regular season. ... Lightning forward J.T. Brown left the game briefly in the second period after taking a big hit in front of the bench from Alexei Emelin. He returned to the bench not long after and was back on the ice early in the third. Nike Blazer basse Uomo scarpe .
